Why Are My Listings Getting Removed While Others Don't Get Touched?
 

Every time on any account I submit a listing, it gets removed. Doesn't matter what the item is.

Even when I copy another sellers listing word for word on the listing for an item I sell, mine gets pulled but theirs stays up. WHat gives?

I even reported it as well:

So if they didn't find a violation for that item, why does mine get pulled when I copied the exact same listing but used my own picture.

It's getting ridiculous.

how old is the account? which category and item type?

It's a new account, but I get the same account on my aged accounts with 10 sales on them.

It's a laptop battery in the computer battery category.


All my listings that I submit are though inkfrog

in this case you need to stop selling it for several weeks and try again

Doesn't really answer my original question as to why my listings are being pulled and others are not.

It can't be due to age of account since the other listing that was reported as the image I attached was registered on February 29th.

accounts with little selling history may have various limitations , it is possible that laptop batteries are considered high risk items and you need to have selling history in order to sell them

It's over a year old and I have sold items that were $1000 a piece on them.

These aren't risky at all. Yet his is still up and mine gets taken down.

Regardless on aged or new. THere are other items that are non risky that get taken down as well.

If there is a flag on the account, then what could be causing it?

I ruled out age as being one of that since most accounts I checked were newly created and listing similar items with no issue.

Phones? I use both online verification, boost mobile, ATT, Verizon and Tmobile cards and still get the same result.

if removals started they will continue , the only way to stop them is taking a break

I am asking on whether or not stopping it will stop them from happening. They will continue no matter what.

I am asking as I mentioned many times, what is causing it.

You mention high risk items, but how can that be when I have listed iPhone 14s on new accounts without any issue.

it is their bots removing items , they could easily be programmed to act on specific categories or sub categories

try to list in wrong category and see if it gets removed , change the title though so it is not identical

Tried it with several categories even on the ebay motors.

My only assumption is how the account is created when it comes to new sellers.

I create on mobile using mobile ips and on chrome, brave, edge and duck browsers

What's the specific reason ebay stated?
Go to live chat and ask an agent what's the reason it's taken down, maybe they'll point you in the right direction.

I have the same issues a year ago, many sellers listed the same items, but my listings were removed due to a "violation". It was happening on the same type of products I list and relist, I stopped listing that kind of products for some months and now they are live again without removals, so if you stop listing for some weeks or a month it may help.

stop selling and you will not have the problem later , it needs to be a longer pause

Happens certain periods. I know when I had listing removals every 30 minutes to an hour. There would be a week's period where all of that would stop.

Then the next week it starts up again.

Has nothing to do with items if everyone else is able to sell them, has to do with something flagging the account from the get go.

What it is? I have no clue.

Stopping it for a period of time isn't going to solve the problem. It is like putting a damn bandage on the problem when you should be solving what is causing it in the first place.

The issue isn't going to stop no matter how long you wait, it is going to continue to happen again.

There are many bots roaming Ebay sites,considered the number of listings on Ebay,it takes times to find the offenders.
You could be on the black list as a repeat offender

bots come and go - always around - always need backup accounts on the go to let things cool on the affected account

But the whole issue with that is the listing removals happen within hours of listing it. Even on other accounts that have are brand new sellers, no previous violations.

So the issue I state again, what could be on the account that could be causing flags.

Why does Joe blow over there who created the account not 6 days ago is able to have his listing untouched. Yet either my aged sitting account or newly account. Copying the listing word for word and using my own picture gets removed within hours.

you need to have an established account for this where listings appear on ebay immediately after listing , from my experience if the removal is very fast it happens during the pending phase when listing is live but does not appear in search yet

regarding joe it is likely just randomness where you were flagged and they were not

It could be you are a repeat offender,so your listings are immediately removed.
For the others,they are removed once they are sold.
Once I bought MSFT key from a seller,once I placed the order,Ebay moved in and removed her listing.

you copy another listing you'll get reported and your listing will get removed.

ANd why are you reporting other people? Leave people alone?

Accounts don't need to be established in order for listings to appear immediately.

I have accounts that are buyer accounts sitting for months. As soon as they get turned into a seller, the listing appears immediately.

Something other in play if OP's listings are getting removed when listing on accounts with no prior violation.

Can you try listing a different (completely different) item with no reference to battery in the listing?

Sounds like a bot is closely monitoring your account. I’m guessing there’s no ebay messages saying why it was removed?

That , I’ve never experienced. Normallyneither VeRo or prohibited warning for me.

Listings still get removed no matter what. Doesn't matter if the account had sales history on there or brand new with no previous violations.

I am having mushroom gummies being removed as a drug policy violation. Yet there are hundreds of listings for them.

Pain in the ass it is getting. eBay needs to get their AI in line.
