eBay selfie ID verification for new seller
 

I had all the new seller accounts asked for ID selfie. Once opened up new seller account, eBay won't give you any selling limit but ask you for selfie ID.

Have submitted the ID, either way by selfie ID or by bank account+ID. Neither way pass the verification. Accounts suspended after documents submitted.

It Seems like this is one kind of restriction types, similar like some user got "reactive".

The only thing I could do is wait, because you won't get pass even giving your ID.

Very sad( Soon all the marketplaces (for example Etsy) will add selfie verification too...

This isn't standard. It maybe the way you are creating accounts

Even so a selfie ID is pretty easy to do now

It’s not normal. You are doing something that triggers this.

It would be foolish to think it wont be normal in 2-3 years though.
