Changing your address on eBay

Quick question, lets say your a seller on Ebay for a good 4-6 months. You have to move and you edit and change your home address on your profile.

Would this trigger anything? Like verification requests?

I think it might trigger verification, 4-6 months its not crazy established, but you might get lucky, I think it can go either way.

I have never heard of changing address trigger re verification,is it the same country?

with the US I can not tell , in the UK it would trigger new verification within minutes of change , it may take place in the background but if they can not confirm through credit check you will have to upload docs

if only the address and nothing else, after 4-6 months you could still be asked for verification - why do you need to change

In most cases, you won't have the option to change the country of the address. If you have the option and changed it and saved the changes, yes you will get verification request

I recall on Ebay,if you move to a different country,it expects you to open a new account based in that country.
Then comes MP account,do you have to link a bank account in the new country?

They have no problem with you changing your location, but if you must in that case change the phone number to the country where you are going to move, for example an eBay account from Ecuador, change to the United States.
But if it is in the United States, do not change the number. Sometimes they will only require a document from where you send products to the warehouse.

I’m still in the same country, here in the US. It’s not a major move. The city and state will still be same. It’s a physical address so yes I can still receive mail.

Moving to a new house and residence It’s still the same country USA and same city. It’s not that far away.
