eBay Backup Account
Hi forum,
How can I make several backup accounts if they are requesting SSN and ID?
I have already used all of my family's but I would like to have several more.
Some recommend. |

same person is allowed to have multiple ebay accounts , this works fine with low risk sales
there are some people though who burn accounts constantly through high risk items , there it would fail as chain suspensions are likely |

Can the accounts sell the same products or do they have to be different?
I can use different address or not ? |

Do you create the accounts yourself? There are sites where you can buy real information that you can use for stealth accounts. I do not recommend using your family's SSN numbers to sell risky products, use stealth accounts for this purpose. |

| same type yes , same items no as there is an ebay policy against duplicate listings
otherwise if you are not a high risk seller you can sell under 5 ebay accounts in the same category completely legally as ebay do not have a problem with people running multiple accounts |

Honestly, using the same doesn't really matter.
I have had over 50 accounts with my name, DOB & last 4 of my SSN or EIN when they ask for ID.
I use the same ID picture on all of them.
They still run a year later. Only thing different on all of them is the address and phone. |

I use them on my old accounts and they are running perfectly fine. At least 20 of them have my DOB, name and last 4 of ssn.
If you are talking about full SSN, then no. Maybe at least 3 of them I have entered the full SSN when I hit 600 or more in sales.
But I rarely do on accounts, since I rotate through a lot of them and spread sales among tons of accounts. |

| They have been working for over a year. They are still running till this day.
You can't use variation on the name when you submit ID. They need to match first and last name otherwise they tell you to edit info or upload ID matching the name.
Only variation I do is adding my middle name in some as well and others leaving it out. |
