Should I accept powerseller status

I am a seller in ebay.com and selling retail software worldwide. I have 99% feedback and my score is 150. I am worried if ebay make me a powerseller and send certificate to my ebay address than how should i collect because all information are ⊗⊗⊗⊗.

Please anyone provide me the solution ? :pry::pry:

Just call ebay and explain to them that you have been relocated temporarily on a 6 month job contract and need them to send it to your temporary address.

EB does not mail certificate to people. Email only. Paperless saves $.

inverser 12-17-2009 06:37 PM

Did they change that? I have a paper copy of my first ever powerseller certificate that was mailed to me.

coffee 12-17-2009 08:14 PM

I never received any.

inverser 12-17-2009 10:35 PM

Yeah, I received one a few years ago on my real eBay account that was blacklisted by eBay!

Unfortunately I can't post a pic of it cos it's at home and I'm out of town at the moment. :(

inverser 12-17-2009 10:40 PM

This was in 2007.

digirally 12-19-2009 06:17 AM

No, they used to send out letters to Powersellers to say congratulations, which included a certificate with your eBay Seller ID. According to some people they don't do that anymore. I don't know for sure, myself. My information is a couple years out of date.

I remember getting the dumb certificate mailed in a folder along with a bumper sticker and a business card holder that had Powerseller engraved on it. It also included stats from my auctions. I am pretty sure I would the stats thing mailed to me every so many months that outlined what I sold, how much I sold, and what was projected I would sell. This was several years ago, and I never bothered with the whole Powerseller thing since.

If you have a good thing going, there is no reason to throw a wrench in the gears just to save 10 percent on eBay fees. If you've read the responses, the point is, we don't know. The mail will probably be returned to eBay, and get put in a bin and eventually shredded.

If you don't want the hassle, and you also want to have a guarantee of no hassle, DON'T ACCEPT THE REQUEST.

boosters 12-26-2009 07:15 AM

If i not request will ebay call me and try to force to accept invitation. However i already said that i am businessman and most of the time i am not in my town, only weekend is may be possible. :argue:

onceuponatime 12-26-2009 07:40 AM

If you haven't done so, rent a PO Box or a UPS store address for your ebay account name where you CAN get mail and add it to your ebay and paypal information. Without an address to accept mail/returns, any account is a ticking timebomb.

If they call you, it's usually to investigate. Phone calls from this company never involve good news.

heliosphan 12-29-2009 10:56 AM

they just switch the status automatically once you enroll in the program I don't remember getting any paper certificate on my PS acct.

They send me quit a few powerseller letters through the mail.Remember they also send those feedback awards that you can frame up and hang on your wall when you get so many feedbacks.

boosters 01-01-2010 01:20 PM

Is there anyway to tell ebay to send only softcopy ?
