Closing ebay accounts

Has anyone successfully closed there eBay accounts before? If so, how long does it take until they notify you that your eBay account is successfully closed and all the data has been deleted.

I got the email with an hour after closing my eBay account, but they didn't specify when my account will be officially closed.

closed is closed,there is no official closing.
But I doubt if your DATA is deleted,

Even if deleted, the data must not be deleted

You sure? The email says once account is closed and data has been deleted, that will send me an email and let me know.

But they didn’t specify when, it’s just says “within days”

therein lies the loophole - cant be 100 percent sure of true deletion
