Closing suspended eBay account
 

Anyone knows how to close a suspended eBay account? It is definitely possible, as I know people who did this, so please do not comment that "this is impossible etc".

have you tried writing to them - closing might be possible but the info will still be retained likely

Some simply write to eBay and with a good excuse they get it closed...
I tried it with my first account and it's still limited forever

agree - seems kind of a crapshot - need a good write-up and an agent who will act accordingly...

They want to obviously reuse something related to their account on another one…

I know Paypal never remove any account,you may close it but it is still there with linked bank account,cc and other personal data.
So,if Ebay is the same,then reusing something from a closed SUSPENDED account is not a good idea

ebay would not remove personal information after account closure , you can consider a suspended account already closed

of course you can try to use your "rights" and demand it from them but they usually just send people with such demands in circles until they give up as no one really cares

Yes, it all depends on the advisor who handles your request, but is that process really important???

Waste of time - I have tons of old crap accounts, once they restrict or suspend, I let it hang. Otherwise if you f around, that's exactly what egay wants you to do - give them more info to blacklist you with, such as ip, cookies, etc. Once kicked off, I let egay keep it.

Yes I understand but you can spend some time doing that and losing important time to make new accounts or continue in sales

Many of you think wrongly. Closing suspended account results in washing all the data from their database. Once it is washed, you can reuse the same data for creating a new account, which is very important. This is what we did already.

In addition, you can reuse a payoneer account which was link to the previously suspended closed account.

That's not correct, they still have your data even if it's temporary

i find it hard to believe that they will wash all data from their database....data is too precious so to speak...

What should I do to delete the account? I have an account who is suspended indefinitely

if it's suspended indefinitely, you are going to find it difficult to delete
