| | Owe ebay money on one account but still able to list on backup account On my main account I have owed ebay 2k for years just realized I had a backup with a 50k limit that I have yet to ever use. I was able to list an item, confirm my identity and get my bank account connected. Will this account work out for me? I can't afford to pay ebay the 2k right now. |

Simply get a new account with that money and continue selling. |

Re: Owe ebay money on one account but still able to list on backup account Yes, it definitely is linked. They are both in my actual name. Sorry, I should have made that more clear. I have yet to use a stealth account yet. I have lurked around this forum because I thought I may have to. |
Re: Owe ebay money on one account but still able to list on backup account What I really want to know is how do i keep this account from getting banned? Can anybody give me a rundown on how to keep a non-stealth account safe? Practices I should stay away from? Items I should stay away from? Or anything else I can do to give myself the best chance for success? I am thinking that I should sell random used garage sale type items. That is the easiest inventory for me to obtain and something tells me that is all the safest inventory type. |

question, can EBay confiscate his sales proceeds of one account to pay for the other account? |

This is one way |

Perhaps others who have firsthand experience will comment. |
Re: Owe ebay money on one account but still able to list on backup account Pretty sure it won’t be a problem once I pay. I just don’t have the money right now. |
| yobar | 05-21-2024 11:08 PM | Re: Owe ebay money on one account but still able to list on backup account In my case I would not pay that money and would try to find a new eBay account to sell. |

Then I start selling on my other account which never been used for selling - only created 2021 with some buying experience. Did around 20-30 sales and received this message:
Your selling privileges are restricted!
Can't be sure if they link it with my other account or it was because I sold some dietary supplements ( which I always been selling on the main account as well).
CS told me to contact them in one month maybe to appeal ( they want to make sure that it won't have any cases by this time). which would be 13th / 09. |

SSN is one way to link the two accounts.
It cannot take money from one account to pay for another account, but it could tell you if you pay the $2k debt, you will be reinstated, but there is no guarantee it will reinstate .
It could also withheld the sales proceeds from your second account,
You are better off opening a stealth account |
