Ebay stealth how long before listing an item?
 

Hi ! Once the account is created, what is your advice in 2024. How long should you wait before publishing an item for sale (stock) then (dropshipping) on ​​ebay? I have heard several opinions on this subject. Create the account, let it marinate for a week, then make purchases and once 5 positive reviews have been obtained, list the first item, so basically, after 2 weeks. Is this a good strategy? Or should we wait more? What worked for you? Looking forward to your feedback! THANKS !

Hello, this would be a good option to start selling, but don't just be guided by what we say here, do your own tests.

I like browsing and bidding for about 2 weeks before selling - my own personal experience. You're dropshipping...is your product high quality or knockoff/vero stuff

Just too many variables, only way to know is to test.

Waiting 2 weeks doesn't work with browsing history, nor does 30 days work for me. Even longer periods doesn't either.

Waiting a day or so works and other times it doesn't.

Depends on how well you created the account with resources you got wether that be cheap options or expensive ones.

It heavily matters what is being sold. Personally I think the most ideal way to build an account is sell one item the first month, then try for 10-15 items the second month and exceed $1000+. Then repeat into the 3rd month.

90 days mark is really important to get over. Then aim towards getting top rated ASAP, that should prevent random periodic reviews. It at least lowers the chance.
