Why is Ebay Promoting Negative Feedback?
 

Many of Us would of by now experienced this new system of Negative feedback removal which is now near impossible to get negs removed unless its profanity or the seller puts your address up

Now i get that ebay are pushing on making sure sellers try their utmost but truth is that some buyers just dont care and leave negative feedback for the fun of it

What now worries me the most is that some Ebay Reps actually now blatantly tell you that the new offline feedback removal department just wont do it and its pointless. Also it seems that despite as much notes given by a rep to that department with all logic and blatant reasoning, they simply ignore the request with that constant "buyer experience". I mean for a seasoned cherished account its quite disheartening to actually know one day that you will loose your 100 percent based on how a customer is feeling one day even if you are selling brand new goods.

So does anybody have a workaround to get negs removed by a human and does that still exist?

no real new workaround - feedback revision request still exists...waiting to see what others might post

What are they doing to promote negatives?

If anything whenever I buy something I get an email to just leave a feedback.
But it's very neutral

In general, this thing about the policies that are placed on the buyer's side and the feedback is screwing a lot of people...
The best thing now is to talk to the buyer and try to get him to change the feedback to at least neutral.

Yes it's true, " buyer experience " or " we don't have proof to believe that you are in reason " and bla bla bla

They are not respecting at all eBay guide lines for feedback...

I often offend them...they deserve it

Also that is a waste of time and remember that you have 5 change tickets every 1000 feedback that is mean every 3000/3500 sells..

Feedback system should be revised totally..but now they added also photo feature other than text over the feedback...

offending them takes more energy than just providing a positive experience to the best of your ability

All that you say is detached from a buyer bad day...you can do good but if your buyer is an asshole..
Feedback system is ridicolus and customer care way more

Sell to yourself 20 one dollar mundane items, free shipping, to yourself (your other self) early in the morning. A couple of days later give your buyer (you) a brimming positive. Couple of days later, do the same to the seller...it pushes the negatives down the page.
