Verify your account details - DVLA address check or just credit history?
 

I have the standard Verify your account details with ID, on an aged account which I created using the change of bank address trick.
I can change my address back again for a while so the credit check should pass fine.

My DL however is and always has been registered to my real address as you'd expect.

Does anyone know if they verify the DL number linked with the DVLA to also check the address matches what's written on the card?

Or will the DL pass fine provided I make the address printed on the card appear the same as the credit verified address?

My instincts say that if they are prepared to accept a passport which doesn't provide any address information then it may not matter than the DVLA address doesn't match.

My passport was previously used on an MC011 account that turned into suspension so that's why I'm asking about the DL.

address is always checked as you must provide details identical to ebay registration details , passport is the same , just passports do not carry address

Yes I know it's checked.. but is a DL address checked against the DVLA or do they just do a credit address check?

They do a check on both your credit address and the address on your driver's license.

address on driving licence always has to match ebay registration details , credit check verified ebay details and DL matches the ebay details

in any cases all 3 values have to match

Sorry maybe I've not been clear.. Once again I know the address on the DL has to match ebay address, has to match credit address.

BUT does the address with the DVLA need to match the DL?
Or maybe this is what you were saying already, but it's not clear from the replies.

Yes, I totally agree, that should coincide, in case it doesn't create a problem

I don't think they'll have to match DVLA.
I think that's just too much.
