Hi there just wondering im going to sign up for inkfrog because it can handle multiple ebay accounts. Just wondering what name and info the inkfrog account should be under can I use my real name and info. And also can you have inkfrog and auctiva on the same ebay account. And also I signed up with auctiva when I made the ebay account is it okay to use inkfrog with a different ip then the one that made the account originally. Thanks

Yes you dont have to worry about IP with inkfrog. You can call the account whatever you like. I would recommend for example if your ebay user ID is gr8-sales call your inkfrog account gr8.sales aswell. You dont have to think of wildly different user names as all this can do is confuse you.

Use the stealth rules when using ebay. But I really recommend using inkfrog for ALL updates to active listings.

There is no link from inkfrog to ebay in terms of user details, IP , etc at present

You can also use you correct details, or you do not have to. All that really matters is the correct email address.

I use Inkfrog and absolutely love it! I have to use dial up when I sign into Ebay or Paypal and since I am in the middle of NOWHERE - it is long distance. So, being able to do just about everything through Inkfrog is a huge plus! Though, I usually start my new accounts with Auctiva. Once the free period is up, I switch.

lol yes thats what i do, may as well use the free trial with one and then go to the other. I alternate it. The winner with inkfrog is that you can amend active listings and NOT in Auctiva.

But I like Auctivas interface better. It just feels "nicer" to use.

But the ability to amend active listings is inkfrogs winner. Every time I try to amend in ebay I have to verify my phone number. No big problem but still a thron none the less.

Hi there sorry but Im still a bit confused okay so I can sign up with inkfrog with my real info but call the account my ebay username. But just wondering when i add another ebay account to inkfrog wont it look weird them all being the same username or do you get to add new details when you add another account. And also you were saying use the correct email address do you mean my personal email or stealth email and if you mean stealth email do I get to enter a different email address when i add another account or what. Thanks

I think what NEO means is; Use your real name for the billing purposes for when InkFrog bills you etc. But use your individual ebay ID's as logins etc. This way all are seperate and then combined under one umbrella.

but with inkfrog you can have add multiple ebay ids so when i registered the inkfrog account i put my real info and email address but im worried about adding all my accounts. So theres no way they can get linked.

okay I understand they have been answered but theres still a few things that im confused about. In Neo's previous post you mentioned create your inkfrog account name same as your ebay id but what if you have multiple ebay ids. And you also said make sure you have the correct email address is my personal email okay. And you also said inkfrog see nothing when adding a token from inkfrog so I can add all the ebay ids at the same time with the same ip address. Thanks in advance

WRONG!

When you generate your token, it must be from a unlinked IP address specific from other accounts.

If you use the same IP address for all your tokens, those accounts will be linked.

okay so i understand now the only thing that ebay sees is the ip address and thats it

With Auctiva, I like being able to color code listings and sales. One of my products needs the buyer to provide information before it can be sent. And not all of them do right away. With Auctiva, I can put these in a color coded file and I automatically know why they haven't been sent yet.

But, Inkfrog, I can edit, remove, just about anything without logging into Ebay. And I have to use dial up, which is long distance for me. So, Inkfrog saves on the phone bill there. I also like that I can take listings from one Ebay ID and with a few clicks of the mouse, add them to my other ID.

Both have their advantages. If I could take alittle of this from that one and add that to this one, I would be happy!

The 30 day free is why I go to Auctiva first and then switch. If the account is still going after 6 weeks, I am very happy to pay.

But, I have not added any of my stealth accounts to my Inkfrog that has my 2 legit accounts. I am afraid I will mess up somewhere. So, I just open one for the stealth and close it as needed.

No spencer what theygotmetoo said is right. You should really link all your ebay ID's separately as when you link one you have to verify by logging into ebay. You have to set all your ebay ids up in inkfrog but you should delete cookies and flash as well as changing IP between each id.

Once they are all set up in inkfrog then you are ok.

So when i signed up for inkfrog I entered my real name and address for the account and for the username on inkfrog account I entered a personal username not one related to any ebay accounts is this okay. And when I add an ebay id to my inkfrog account make sure Im on a new ip address every time for the token. Thanks

Can you add your ebay id's from different windows users and then use inkfrog on 1 user?
