| | | ahmaed | 08-14-2024 04:01 PM | New eBay Policy " BBE" restrict my accounts I don't see anyone talking about the new ridiculous policy. Any neutral or return from eBay buyers will increase your BBE% easily, and then eBay will restrict your account and reduce your selling limits; all my accounts have restrictions; one account got restricted because I got 1 return from 74 transactions. That's obviously insane!!!:mad2: |

Significantly Not as Described (“SNAD”): a buyer returned an item and gave a return reason that indicates “Item Not as Described”, including “Doesn’t work or defective” / “Doesn’t match description or photos” / “Wrong item sent” / “Missing parts or pieces” / “Arrived damaged” / “Doesn’t seem authentic” / “Doesn’t fit my vehicle”; Stock-Out Cancellation (“Stock-Out”): a seller canceled a transaction because they no longer had the item, or the item was never shipped, and the buyer's money was returned; Low Detailed Seller Ratings (“Low DSR”): a buyer left a Detailed Seller Rating score of 1, 2, or 3 for “Item as Described”; or Neutral/Negative Feedback (“NNFB”): a buyer left Neutral or Negative feedback for a seller.
Starting December 11, 2023, sellers will be evaluated on the number of transactions with bad buyer experience. The sellers whose BBE rate is much higher than the peer market average may be subject to a range of actions, including, but not limited to: - Administratively ending or removing listings,
- Adjusting selling limits,
- Holding the payment,
- Enforcing buying or selling restrictions, or
- Suspending the relevant accounts.

No other issues/complaints/neg feedback besides this? |

No other issues/complaints/neg feedback besides this? | No, all my metrics are good; when I reach 100 orders, I will be top-rated |

what did you sell>in what category? | They measure it by counting the total Negative/Neutral feedback you received, the number of returns you have, and out-of-stock cancellations with the total number of transactions you sold to get BEE%. For example, if you received 1 Neutral feedback and 3 returns for 70 transactions, your BBE rate will be (1+3/70)=5.7%. If the market average is around 1-2%, then they will limit your account because you have a higher rate than the market. |

Maybe in their mind this will force sellers to sell quality products that customers keep? |
| solefoodbk | 08-28-2024 01:17 AM | Re: New eBay Policy " BBE" restrict my accounts Yep, I just lost my account because of INRC, to be fair I screwed up. However, in the past my account was always strong enough to withstand these short term issues I recently faced.
Ebay phone support used to be helpful because you had direct access to the backend team while they all worked in the same building. Now everybody just sits on their a$$ at home, therefore getting a supervisor is like pulling teeth. Before, you'd get them everytime you called because the agents were held accountable.
I no longer can view eBay as a marketplace I would build my life around. Before 2020 it was basically the only marketplace I sold on, since then I've been off & on, however now I only think moving $10k per month is feasible. Anything more is just likely going to cause my account to get suspended so why bother. If you have other marketplaces it all evens out anyways. |

Some use it to punish the seller for engaging in retail arbitrage or use it and return it,it is called Rent a Ebay!
Or they can't resell it,so back to its owner. |

| md198989 | 09-12-2024 08:58 AM | Re: New eBay Policy " BBE" restrict my accounts I understand what you said. Autually Chinese accounts have been like this for several years. In addition, there are category and logistics restrictions. Chinese accounts even require video verification. In some cases, it is stricter than Amazon. | | All times are GMT -5.
