is this enoough to work?
 

So my Ebay account was permanently suspended in June 2018, over 6n years ago.

Since then, my IP has changed, my surname has changed and also have a new laptop.

The only thing that remains the same is my address.

In between this, about 3 years ago I had a stealth account which is actually still active, but I haven't logged in for about 2 years. On that account I used my name with my new surname but obviously a different address (my partners at the time).

Is it safe now to open a brand new account with my real info? I assume that the stealth account isn't connected to any other in any way as it hasn't been banned and can't see how it would be connected to me in anyway.

The only info that would be the same as the banned account in 2018 would be the address? Obviously would use a new bank account and phone number too.

Hope that makes sense.

Any advice greatly appreciated.

If you was banned before managed payments, you can just open an account in your name and details from before.

I can't remember if it was managed payments or not, is there a way I could find this out? Do you mean when we would receive payments through Paypal and not Ebay?

I just Googled and it appears that the payments would have come from Adyen, I don't think I ever received payments that way before getting banned on that account in 2018...

Also, is there a reason why this makes a difference if the suspension was before managed payments?

ebay pardoned all suspended sellers on managed payments release , their old accounts will not be reinstated but they are allowed back in if they behave

Have they stated this somewhere or is it some sort of inside information? Is this the case even if they do end up linking the accounts on managed payments to old suspended accounts?

No such thing !
But MP does not talk to Paypal and when Ebay used Paypal as payment processor,some information eg SSN is saved in your Paypal account but not Ebay.
One way to find out if you have ever received MP payment is to look into your Paypal account,when was the last time you received Ebay sales in your Paypal account.

you want to survive on ebay you will have to go by what is really going on rather than by what is written. nowadays ebay do a lot of things inofficially and do not inform anyone about this , for example mass suspensions of new accounts , go and try to find anything about this in their rules

they do not need to talk to paypal , they have personal details of suspended seller and can just suspend anyone with same details again

I second this.

OP, you have the stealth guide from what I saw, it stated you can't use the same address. I'd chnage address just to be certain. It tells you how to get a new box also.

Oh and you don't need a new laptop.

Ebay seems to be making a lot of concessions to keep people they previously would have got rid of, first with MP now with tax laws they're making things easier in some ways
