Payment holds after reinstatement
 
Have a question if anyone knows, my account was accidentally suspended due to my hotspot giving off an IP that seemed to be a VPN. I knew it was a mistake since my account is very clean with no issues. I contacted ebay and after few questions, reinstated my account. Prior to the suspension, I had no payment holds, but now due to the default account reinstatement, I have payment after delivery.

Is it worth calling ebay and seeing if they will remove this, since the account was suspended by mistake and reinstated again? Or just wait for the 30 days of payment upon delivery and hope it goes back to next day?

I've had this on one of my accounts when they asked for business details to be re-verified. It was not an issue and I supplied what they wanted to their satisfaction.

I was reinstated and subject to a hold like you, As annoying as it was that I was both suspended and subject to a hold over a mere clerical matter and nothing to do with selling practices I decided just to ride it out. I wasn't doing anything hookey so had nothing to worry about but still didn't want to attract any further attention to my account.

I agree with this and this is what I will be doing as well. Just to follow up, I did call eBay and they said it is standard as noted in the TOS, after a suspension or restriction, to have funds held until delivery for up to 30 days. An agent working in the seller account department said it is possible to manually remove only if there are no returns or disputes open, but preferred the manual course of the up to 30 day period.
