EIN question
 

Ok, so I added my bank but the USA EIN is taking forever to get here. So long in fact that I got halted to sell on the platform until it is added.

So I got the red banner death notice that said for me to verify myself.

It is asking for
Name
Address
Date of birth
EIN number

No pictures required.

So the question is do I temporarily change my eBay Stealth to my real name and address and use my date of birth with the EIN number I get from the IRS or do I leave the stealth info , put my date of birth and the EIN number?

Anyone ever have to do it like this before and were successful?

Are they just going to see if the EIN and date of birth match? And not care what is in eBay ?

I haven't tried this on my US accounts but I feel strongly that changing registration info is not a good move on eb - hopefully other people will comment but in your position, I'd leave stealth info and use date of birth and EIN number that matches registration info.
