How to send paper envelopes with tracking?

Seen some sellers doing this, basically sending something like a trading card in an envelope with $1ish postage and yet it has tracking. Is this some sort of new shipping type USPS has that I’m unaware of? Not talking about First class package or Ground Advantage, literally I’m just talking about something w a regular stamp or 2 on it but also a trackable barcode. What is this?

Perhaps registered mail? That would give tracking
