Using non integrated shipping service

I was wondering if anyone knew . If I used a non integrated shipping service that did provide tracking and proof of delivery , would eBay still release my funds early after proof of delivery ?

I want to know how this works for the UK side as well as the USA as I sell on both .
Thanks

There are interstated shipping carriers on eBay , which they list and eBay prefers these carriers to others .

Re: Using non integrated shipping service

if they are not listed on Ebay, then when a question arises that Ebay has to verify your tracking number, you have to give the URL of your carrier so it can go to that site.
Some Ebay sellers who sell bulky items using trucking companies do so.
If the transportation company does not have a website or does not have automatic tracking feature, then you have to produce some forms of papers to prove delivery.
whether it will release your money faster or slower, depends on you and what you sold ,your question will get better answer on ebay seller forum as some sellers do use trucking companies for large bulky items such as machinery, servers etc

Don't think they will release funds early - you will have to provide proof or if your account is very established with solid feedback, perhaps the release will happen based on trust...

What if the shipping provides proof of delivery ? Will they release funds early ?

Re: Using non integrated shipping service

it helps if you print the shipping label on Ebay, but in your case, you would have to upload a tracking number yourself and without the company URL,Ebay would not be able to update your progress, even given the URL,I doubt if Ebay would go there.
How old is your account?if it is an established account and the amount is within range of your past sales ,it could release it based on how you set up in your seller account.
Like in our Ebay seller account,we have a choice of how soon we want the money transferred to our bank account, take a look at your seller account.

I think the issue is that eb doesnt do manual review of these submissions as much as before - I haven't forced the funds to be release early in quite some time so the only way is either you try it and see or perhaps other ppl who have done this can comment on recent experience

I dont know what you mean by early?
if everything turns out well,it would be released according to schedule, what did you specify in your seller account, how soon do you want MP to deposit your Ebay fund?
There is no such thing as EARLIER?IF it is past the due date, then you should contact Ebay and ask why?

no one will be looking at your tracking and checking , the information is processed automatically so that for example the system sees it was despatched and later delivered

if the carrier is not listed on ebay the system will not see anything

Re: Using non integrated shipping service

There should be a place where seller can enter the name of the shipper, its URL and the tracking number as there are sellers who use freight company to deliver heavy, bulky items. such as tractors, servers, motor parts, furniture, A/C ,neon signs .
EBAY does not go there to check the status but if a case is open,it will.
But some of these shippers do not have online trackable numbers, they mostly deal with businesses, not retail individuals.
I just looked at my seller account,I asked payout to be made Daily,
On November 17,someone bought an item over $4k,I shipped on the 18th,Ebay sent out the payment on 19th,it landed in my bank account on Nov 21 and the item was delivered on Nov 23.
So it is not always based on tracking number shown as delivered,it could be earlier if you specify daily disbursement, you are in good standing and you have shipped the item and may be a few more factors such as
-high risk items such as iphone
-high risk country where it is shipped from and shipped to ,eg Ukraine,Palestine,Israel,Russia?Syria,Lebanon
-the seller or the buyer reputation

Re: Using non integrated shipping service

I am asking about fairly new accounts which do not have extensive history and eBay places holds on the funds for 10 days .
Before I used to be able to ask for manual release of funds using live chat and providing shipping number and sending the url , after they confirmed shipment funds used to be manually released .
I wanted to know if this was still possible or not ?

It probably exists but takes a lot of navigation...you may need to trial and error hard with eb

While perhaps fruitful at times, it's not exactly great to keep pushing this in various posts agent...
