I refused to put in a bank account until this ebay account makes some sales. when I see some products. then I'll do it.

Search this forum,some sellers cannot get his money as he fails to link a bank account.
But now Ebay said we can keep the money in our Ebay account and use it to buy things from other sellers .

So just make sure you dont get too much money in the account OP before trying to add the bank

what do you mean keep it in the account? I thought they ban accounts for not adding a bank. ebay is so hypocritical

if you have done nothing wrong,but does not link a bank account or your bank account is rejected,then the fund stays in your seller account\,you can use it to buy things from other Ebay sellers.
what is the purpose of selling if you cannot withdraw your sales proceed?
Ebay will also like you to link a credit card.

I understand the point of withdrawing funds I just thought that they ban accounts that refuse to add a bank account.

They don't ban them. It's just a good idea to make sure you can get it added sooner rather than later

what I'm saying is even if they don't ban it, will they ask for id if you wait too long to add a bank account? my problem is them asking me "hey we're gonna ask you some questions from a public database" and then no questions come up and they suspend me and tell me "sorry but for reasons we can't discuss ebay has decided against doing business with you."

when you say create cookies, do you mean searching stuff up on ebay and browsing the site? yes I do.

Seems to me you need to contact eBAy CS and ask to help. eBay CS will forward to relevant depertment and they will help you to add bank.
