So now when you get banned you cannot message ebay support, can't even message buyers. Have a few pending orders I can't create labels for, unsure if i should even ship them. I know they don't release money for like 3-6 months but same items we're sitting on mercari for a year lol, missed ebay, gone so soon yet again.

They don't have a support #, on twitter they use a 3rd party company. They literally have turned into amazon wtf.

FYI think I got banned because listing name brand stuff like nike and iphones. Was starting slow listing stuff around that house that I don't use or wear and still got banned smh.

they do not allow contact because it is pointless - no ebay rep would reinstate you

there are supposed to be cases where a seller was reinstated but it is a slim chance , if ebay consider reinstatement on an account the bots usually restrict but when they suspend it is between very hard and impossible to get reinstated

when a seller is suspended,Ebay will email your buyers telling them you have been suspended,it is up to the buyer to decide if he wants to cancel the order,it is also up to you if you still want to ship the order

i have their uk direct line but you seem to be in the states, also you can text message your customer as their mob nos are on orders these days, and tell them if theyd like to complete outside ebay and you can cancel the order if they wish too

with a suspended accounts there is nothing to continue , if they paid but you have not shipped yet then do not ship

But its a few items that have been sitting on others sites for 1-2 years, so was happy for them to be sold, just hope ebay pays out in few months and doesn't forever hold your money. Seems a lot has changed in 2024

I don't want to seem like I'm hijacking the thread or make it about myself but I literally just checked my account and here is the accurate information

giorgio armani prescription glasses (authentic) pre-owned that I purchased new from a authorized retailer,

an hp officejet printer (new) but no box or manual, some levi's jeans (authentic new with tags) a pair of wranger jeans (authentic new with tags)

and a g-shock casio watch (authentic used but great condition) purchased from the jewelry counter at wal-mart from the (plastic rectangular display case)

not only did the ebay reps not seem to care but they didn't even take into account that I had 37 items sold 35 positive feedback, 1 negative from (like 8 months ago) and 1 neutral (from 10 months ago) 97.2 positive feedback they just didn't care

feedback means nothing,there are some sellers with 5 figures feedback and they get suspended.
It has nothing to do with the merchandise you listed above,it has to do with your account.
If you are a repeat offender,Ebay is not obliged to respond .

Of course they don't care..... that's how it's always been and they have a multiple choice answer to give you from a script.

And ALL these branded names, specially Nike and iPhone can trigger those flags.

These people are good at figuring out who is selling off their personal items or just tryiing to game the system.

To answer past questions -

"Stealth" but all i do is just add or take off a letter of my name and few numbers off the address. Then use last 4 of SSN as the last 4 of my EIN. I think this worked out fine as one they approve your account I think thats part is good.

Where I could have messed up was the selling of nike or iphones or selling "too last" in a small time period. Aged for a month, but then did $500 quick, this is probably what triggered a review.

Feedback doesn't mean anything lmao. I've lost account with 1500 and 500 feedback 100% rating, ebay does NOT care.

Also as per stated earlier, when banned you can not message ebay in anyway. They use a third party support for twitter, but they need you to allowed their 3rd party tool to connect to your account which you can't do when banned. No known US phone number to call.

i just hate ebay so much.A site who's primary purpose is for buying and selling but keeps suspending new buyers, new sellers, and even established sellers and buyers whenever the AI feels your time is up..then its up!!

Surviving on ebay has become a GAME and if you do not know how to manipulate the system, your time will eventually be up.They need to tone down the AI system as it is killing their business, kind of like VAR to football.

for them it is just noise , they do not need new sellers and older sellers are not suspended so easily too if they do not get caught with counterfeits , high risk items or disproportionate rise of turnover

Yeah i'm out of EIN's my dumb self thought you could open up a LLC and get as many as you want. You're only suppose to have 1, somehow I was able to pull 2 and another for "banking". Paying $150 for a new LLC everytime I want a new EIN just for ebay to eventually shut down my account.

I think I have to officially give up on ebay, its a sad sad day :/

No good stealth sellers on here or anywhere. Even then stealth isn't possible without doing id thef as have to use last 4 of SSN here in the US for personal or even business accounts.

it is a problem in your logic , on new accounts you do not need a business account , LLC etc.

ebay don't care about personal details on new accounts so that you could just upgrade later

no this is not about complexity , the guy just does not understand that LLC is a long term solution which can be run on an account for long term sales

ebay do not see new account as worthy of long term sales , they suspend most accounts and do not even look at registration details , it is all done by bots and the reps just routinely confirm that the decision is final when you ask them

With each account gone, you learn more and more what to do differently...

Starts with just because you have a long standing account whether its 5 or 10 years with 1000s of feedback, you are not untouchable.... since then with "stealths" on managed payments its been:

- Took me awhile to get opsec down,
- Can't use my ssn even on business acc
- then I learned my using my ein as my personal tin trick.
- Then its don't sell high risk items in the beginning or even at all
- Then you learn you can't even sell USED name brand items in the beginning.
- Then its don't buy anything to your house as a buyer as your address to get your feedback score up and look like a normal user as that addy is burned...

It's been a journey lol

You cannot use your same SSN, I see you're from the UK, so unsure how it works over there with the NI and new accounts, but I know its way easier to make new accounts there vs US.

I have never heard of necessity to provide full SSN on brand new accounts and once an account is selling and is stable you can upgrade to corporation

Huh? When opening accounts they ask for last 4 of SSN since no one has the same last 4, so same thing as full. And you must provide this when setting up payments.
