Updating bank details on accounts suspended 2 years will my payouts come?
 

I got a handful of accounts 1.5-2 yrs old, all perm suspended.
They all got hit around 22-23 when the big ban waves were coming and ebay were/prob still are total holeases, I tried many times to unban and got the same book of lies.

Normally after 6 months max the payouts come, my bank closed those accounts for inactivity and eventually when ebay paid out it all bounced back. I tried to update the bank accounts but there is just no human reasoning with ebay, so gave up.

Few days ago I decided to log in and behold they all allow me to update bank details. I updated one as a test, got the usual 48 hours delay due to changing bank details - no problem. Now after 3 days it just says no payouts scheduled because account suspended.

I never got this far before, rang ebay got the usual lies "your funds have been transferred to the government body now" when I said but they show in my payments? Guy went blank made more lies up, so this means he has no clue but would lie to me even if he knew.

Anybody have any idea?
I am still hoping it will trigger a payout soon, or maybe in 90 days 180 days... however I need to carefully plan how I proceed don't want to enter a bank account that I might not have in 6 months anymore

if suspended 2 years ago the money is gone for good , it is only restricted accounts where the money remains available

ebay play by a script , as soon as they need to do something outside the script , they can't do it

You need to find out how to get the money from your government.

In US,this is true.
Why dont you ask your fellow UK sellers how it works.
2-3 years ago,Ebay should be using Paypal,so when you change the bank details,did you go to Paypal to do so,or do it on EBAY?

This is what Ebay want her to do,go to the govt and claim it.
question-if it is a steath account,how does she claim it?

Doubt that the money is actually transferred over to the govt - feels like a generic message from the eb agent

Escheatment is the process of transferring assets to the state. Escheat rights are often revocable—reclamation rights can extend into perpetuity if no statute of limitations exists. This means that ownership of an estate or property/assets could revert to a lawful heir or owner should one turn up.

ebay doesnt use PP anymore for balance - uses MP do doubt the balance is in PP

he is referring to his accounts suspended in 20 22,2023.

MP was implemented before then hmm feels like 2019 or 2021 latest...

July 20,2020 is the date.
This is what I found so far,
Unless your payout entity is eBay Sarl or ECUK, we may retain an amount that we reasonably believe may be necessary to pay for any refunds, reimbursements, or other payments associated with returns, Disputes, or other post-transaction activities, when your eBay account is closed. Unless otherwise required by law, we will settle any unused retained amounts to your Linked Financial Account within 180 days of your eBay account closure.”“

4 out of 12 accounts actually sent the payouts after 3 days. 48 hours waiting time as a security precaution after changing bank details then 24 hours until it got pushed out. The other 8 accounts are sitting on no payout is scheduled.

I am happy at least something came out but getting the rest would be super nice.

I am not sure if some of them have a harder suspension then others or it is perhaps by age, the accounts that did pay out are slightly older by like a few weeks.

All those account got banned because I got careless and really walked the edge. Back before ebay got super tight pre 2020 or 2021? whatever it was I was managing all those accounts off the same phone. Different browsers all seperate cookies and history. The hardware fingerprint was different for each browser, not by much but different. Using a popular Android phone it was also a pretty popular generic finger print and it worked/and still works to this day if you are not stupid. Obviously need to get a new Ip for each browser when using it.

What got me I did a bit of feedback generation when the accounts were first made to speed things up and not work from 0 feedback.
Those accounts would all make a few sales back and forward to each other with false low value items and Pickup only option.
so I basically had around 10 feedback on each account when I started them back and forward.

After a while many months of selling low value low risk item but high turnover eventually caught into the feedback generation and all the accounts got banned in 1 batch.

If it wasn't for the feedback they would be still kicking.

Anyway so from here I wait with fingers crossed that maybe more of them will get the payments pushed out.
