Help needed with VCC for eBay without AVS check
 

Hi

I need a VCC for eBay that passes the billing address check, I have used Revolut for years and can still add them on eBay to buy items fine but when selling and eBay asks for credit card on file to cover any fees the Revolut cards won’t work or even add it just keeps saying check billing address and now payouts are on hold until I add one but as stealth details I cannot add any of mine

Is there any VCC cards that pass the billing address check or a way round it like prepaid cards that work at moment

Are you changing the address on Revolut to match the ebay account details?

Can you add your stealth name to your real name credit card?
CC issuers always ask us to give family members the card we are using?
Once someone's dog was issued a card !

No didn’t change the billing address on Revolut as in own address I’m guessing if did that then the stealth address will then appear on my credit file so was trying to avoid that, Do any VCC exist anymore without the Address check

If you want to bypass with no fund usage, I had good luck on Mercari with Makavi94's VCC. Mismatched addresses still worked. He's in the account services section. You could bypass the check and divert your preferred payment from your bank account. Also, you can contact customer service to charge your bank. (This is only when you have a return that needs to be refunded)

As for needing direct usage of funds for other things on the account, a virtual credit card option will work from YOUR account with real details. Assuming you have a credit card you're allowed to generate fresh numbers with under their platform. I have used it and have had luck with it. My inclination is that it is processed directly through Adyen and eBay doesn't see it. I'm assuming this is what you need and not just a check bypass as mentioned above.

Contacted the seller you mentioned and says he only has US Ebay VCC and not UK one i need so still need but if cannot find one i will have to use my own details on the billing address to try and pass the check and hope doesn’t cause linking or suspension and eBay don’t check and just Ayden sees it as you suggested

Is this doable these days? Seems like a cockamamie plan - it was possible in the 80s, 90s but these days with cc companies trying to prevent fraud, I doubt that stealth names and non-identifiable ppl can be added...maybe in the USA it's still possible? Please clarify

I have never tried it,but the banks still offer such ,dont know how they go about verifying if the person is your relative or a human?or does not exist.
But the original card owner is responsbile for all the charges.
when I have some time,I may try to apply and see how it works

I don't know if this will help... but my credit cards are all business-type cards. This may be what is allowing verification in the AVS system. They may just think its an employee-based card.

I don't know about the legal end in the UK, but in the States usually, the contract doesn't allow businesses to see private details past name, card number, transaction, and address information. Would eBay likely be digging into that information with a bot, no. I'm sure the information is encrypted and only used for transactions, not as a tool to identify account linkage. I've noticed no linkage with your address under credit card information on Mercari and eBay and both use Adyen. Again, try to use stealth with new number and steath address and if it rejects use the real with a fresh number you've never used on another account.

In US,the data base does not have name of the cardholder,so it is just card number,security code,physical address,issuer bank or credit union,expiration date ,line of credit,outstanding balance and a code which indicates if it has been reported stolen,active or suspended.also some indication that the retailer should confiscate the card and not given back to the customer.
also some features which will alert the card issuer eg your card is being used in Cancun,Mexico to buy gold jewelry when you just fill gas one hour ago at your local gas station.
Or you have been in and out of shopping malls buying gold,cell phones ,anything which can be quickly converted back to cash,(either brick and mortar malls or cyber malls).
They know more about you based on your past activities than you would like them to know.

They verify credit history and details for their protection even if original cardholder will be liable, quite sure

you can open AIRWALLEX uk account , they allow to create an unlimited number of VISA cards which all work without address check

Just checked and only for Registered business with Tax ID so no good for me as don’t have that but Thanks for your time anyway

Tried and comes up with following message when select sole trader even though am in UK like you

Unfortunately, Airwallex is not yet available for sole traders in your region.
