Using AI to bypass Payoneer Visual Identity Verification
 

It looks like creating an eBay account and creating a Payoneer account for it now requires a visual identity verification. Is it possible the AI faces I made for the IDs to be able to make a selfie / live selfie with a date written on a paper and pass this verification? I am not techie so I dont even know what AI program to use for this. This is also a process now too creating Wise accounts, it needs live selfies. I probably need a professional to do this for me. Or maybe the end of making stealth accounts.

It might be hard. They will make you open a link to access your camera and make a selfie.. it could be easy for the techie guys thou.

it is cheaper to pay people who you can register to , anyone , poor people , drug addicts, homeless etc.

in south east asia there are hundreds of millions of poor people

So this isnt "stealth".. they will be real accounts. Unless we use ⊗⊗⊗⊗ ids and infos.
It might be cheaper but a lot of hard work finding these people. Im too old for that. lol.

on the contrary , using AI can be detected , it is only a question of how determined your adversaries are

for example binance , they use face recognition you would likely not be able to circumvent with AI , I don't know what it is called but it is where your image on the screen becomes dark as if it is night and they shine light on you in different ways for about 10-20 seconds in order to detect AI

There are Indian and Pakistani Facebook groups with people selling Payoneer accounts, no doubt plenty of scammers though.

Might be worth taking a holiday to the slums of India with a bag full of mobile phones and some cash and getting people to register Payoneers accounts:

That is advance, because from what I read these live selfies they just make you tilt your head left and right and sometimes make you blink. The flashing lights is new.

You dont need to go to India, just go to the nearest hood in your area. Haha. If you are in Singapore or Switzerland it will be harder. In UK tons of immigrants stabbing people on broad daylight, maybe they can be of help. In the US tons of homeless.

I just tried doing it on a mobile phone and when they asked for a selfie I faced it on the laptop with a clear picture of the id holder. It passed then after 15-30mins got an email that I need to do the visual identification again.

That approach might seem cheaper, and yes, work like that.

But the main problem is that Persona verification can be triggered again at any point during the account’s lifetime.

If the person is no longer reachable when that happens, it becomes a serious issue and can lead to the account being stuck or limited.

So are you saying every time you create a new eBay account , they are asking you for a biometric data ? For now I have only encountered this about 3 times out of dozens of accounts.

No, not eBay I mean Payoneer.

This type of biometric verification usually applies to certain countries like Ukraine, Turkey, Thailand, and Argentina. In the European Union it’s handled differently, and in the USA the process is different as well.

Well biometrics are going to be the default I think in the coming year on every platform , including eBay.

Most likely, yes. I think that will become the standard on most platforms.

On Etsy it’s already basically standard after reaching around $5k in sales volume, they often require visual identity verification.
