my eBay buyer is not able to make purchase
 

Hi,

What is the trick to letting a new eBay buyer be able to make a purchase?


I am getting the red banner so frequently saying:
"Please check your payment details or use a different payment method."

details of buyer account:
- 1 week aged
- Tried using VCC directly to pay - CashApp or Revolut. (Also tried my physical debit card from Revolut)



I used to be able to make purchases no problem.

Its most likely the VCC not being trusted

Age the account up a bit and it can work but real bank cards usually don't have this same issue

So i used the same VCC on another account and it passed.

Of course it was a really aged ebay account, im sure those can take all sorts of abuse.

But how long do you recommend i have to age the buyer first?

can we use the same cc for more than one account?

It is possible but keep in mind that a link between accounts will be generated.

use paypal , it always works as long as you do not alarm the bots so that a new buyer accounts should start slowly with cheaper items

I have a number of buyer accounts myself so I already tested this , you do slowly and you will be able to buy almost anything in middle term

tell him to clear cookies and use desk top browser.... if this doesnt work, he should check out as a guest..this would fix it

how long do you age the ebay and paypal buyer account before it can pass over $300 using PayPal?


And how many small transactions do you do exactly before it can pass for something around $300?

3-6 months , you need to buy regularly low risk items , 300 is not equal 300 , there is a difference if you buy a book for 300 and iphone for 300

yeah this guy is right at least 6 months old your buyer must be with about 50-100 transactions before you can buy off your eBay. My eBay has just passed 6 months with at least 100 transactions and now I can buy more now.
