Nobody knows nothing about eBay!

Yup you read the title right. Nobody knows anything on eBay anymore. You can start off by selling small value items but still get hit with an ID request and an account closure. It happened to me when I sold £10 item. Was even posted/delivered and still got ID request.

You can wait get big limits, list first big item get reactivate after your first listing or wait get average limits sell 3 small cheap azz items and still get your eBay account banned.

I’ve come to terms that fcuk eBay 😂😂😂 nothing working anymore.

There is no stealth anymore. If you simply want a second chance to get back to selling and will look after your account and not trigger suspensions you can still do that buy forming a LTD or using a family or friend who is registered to vote.

There are those that make it work and those that just walk away.

Which are you?

When you send pm there isn’t a sent box to show the comment brother. I don’t appreciate my private messages being ignored tho bro.

Re: Nobody knows nothing about eBay!

Stealth from what I've tried is pretty much impossible. all you can do is use your real details and switch it up like crazy

so far that is working for me

hotadvice 02-23-2025 05:51 PM

Re: Nobody knows nothing about eBay!

what do you mean by switch up your real details?please elab....

variation in your name? same dob? diff bank account details each time? change of address? what exactly?

all the above but keep the same DOB, also different phone number

hotadvice 02-24-2025 06:03 AM

Re: Nobody knows nothing about eBay!

thats interesting...and the 1p verification still works ....in and out with a varied name but same dob...

youd still be required to provide id at some point, this would be very temporary account right?

Yeah payouts, not a problem.

i have multiple Gov ID, health card, drivers license, resident card (moved to canada from north london 5 years back) so i switch it all up but no i have a few solid accounts that run daily

still have all my old UK stuff too but not used it yet, but i might in the future as i still have a functioning UK bank (barclays) but then taxes can get pretty messy so i haven't bothered

Smart use of the various ID options under real name

Is there an up-to-date post on forming an LTD (LLC?)

Best option is use an accountant and their address. It's worth whatever they charge to form a LTD and get yourself a new address in the process.

I mean how forming a company would help get back on ebay in your own name (for canada).

I haven't had time to research this aspect - I do have 2 companies for my own personal work but I have not bothered to register them for ebay. Hopefully someone has better experience in Canada with this path

It'd be great if possible. I just want to do things therightway(tm) without using other peoples names, needing a constant supply of accounts, cycling out addresses etc.

You're not entitled to a reply, no one does.

Perhaps fix your attitude first then we'll all get a long.

I follow - incorporating there costs about 200 I remember and you get digital documents - seems usable for business identification...
