Anyone noticed slower USPS shipping speeds
 

I haven't sold anything on ebay for about 3-4yrs now. I finally started to sell again mostly for side hustle for vacation money when I'm not doing anything, or the wife will package it up and ship it for me.

The last time I sold anything, USPS had 1st class mail upto 15.9oz. I could have something mailed and delivered from Las Vegas to Chicago, IL within 3 days. Now it takes double the time, about 5-6 days. Even Priority Mail seems to take 1-2 extra days longer on most cities vs 3-4yrs ago.

I also see that Ebay charges higher fees vs my last time selling on that platform, about 1.5% higher.

It could be the weather,say if you are shipping to Los Angelos or North and South Carolinas.
Ebay has raised its fees,take a look at opening an Ebay shop,it could save you some money.

Yes yes yes yes! Abysmal times, something is definitely wrong. It seems like everything in this country is falling apart. I have waited 2 weeks for items to arrive, all from sellers here in the US. You an usually get most things from overseas faster than this.

It's a joke, and I'm paying more for standard post than priority mail was in 2016.

They don't guarantee delivery anymore, so express shipping is pointless. Prices increase every year, and yet the customer service has gotten worse every year.

2016? and it is now 2025,how much is minimum wage in 2016?
Wait till TRUMP privatises USPS!!
I am just grateful it is still the lowest cost provider,may be Fed Exp ground is cheaper in some cases.
What can be so important that they cant wait an extra 1-2 days,if they cant,then pay for UPS or Fed EXP or drive to a brick and mortar store in his city

Due to the offers free shipping, fast shipping etc - many ppl don't see the fast shipping as a privilege but a RIGHT, hence the lack of patience`

I haven't noticed anything particularly egregious. Sometimes **** goes wrong at USPS, but I assume that's probably true anywhere. I just happen to send the most volume through USPS so I tend to notice their screw ups more.

UPS just sent me something which belongs to my neighbor,this is not the first time,in the past they have sent me cat litter box,TV stand,toothbrushes,men and children clothings and electronics.

USPS express deliveries generally take me about 3-7 days, not 2-4 days like it used too. Thats with increased prices every year. UPS is the most reliable shipping provider out of the all IMO
