What is the most accounts you can create with the same ssn?

I currently have 2 accounts under the same ssn was wondering if people have went past this number I heard another person with 4 accounts under the same ssn.

Yes I've seen people with more, but they still follow the stealth guide rules.

well i would like to make more incase something happens also most new accounts have a revenue limit before it gets flagged

you can have more as long as you do not circumvent ebay policies like getting an item removed on one account and list it on another one in the same name

There is no restriction with ebay but with Walmart/Amazon you can only have one Seller account per SSN

with ebay the same person can have unlimited accounts under same identity provided you don't bypass ebay policies

Right - even following stealth guide, keep in mind the SSN link is present but operating multiple accounts is definitely doable

Ebay sellers can have multiple accounts,one for selling,one for buying,one for searching,one for mischief
For selling,they can sell high ticket items with one account and low $$ items with another,mixing high and low prices make buyers wonder where your high price items come from ?

What I can say from personal experience is, there is no technical limit because I've reused mine over 10 times. However about 2 years ago I tried to recover one of my first eBay accounts from 2010. It was suspended due to my first account having a past due balance. Eventually the system caught it, I got the periodic review twice, the second time within minutes after indefinte suspension.

When trying to appeal, I talked to trust & safety over the phone. At the time, I really wanted my account to work out so I didn't care about the red flags like the agent asking database questions. He said if I validated myself he would explain what happened, and so I did. Once I did that, I basically validated the reason for the suspension because he linked to another account I made 6 months prior.

The key thing to know is, if they are looking for it, they can find it. Most agents in trust & safety don't extensively try to dig up old accounts because the time that would take makes no rational sense. They have probably hundreds of accounts to review daily. There is a link, but practicing stealth still avoids this. This only affects you after receiving MC011. If you practice proper stealth there is no algorithm to detect you having the same SSN but everything else for the most part different.

Ebay with managed payments is essentially just like having stealth on Paypal then upgrading to business and legitimizing it. You can't expect to have success if you reuse the same SSN with the same information, same business etc.

you are right but it is always necessary to take the bots into account , chain suspension would be done by bots while manual reviews would mostly be dealing with the accounts currently restricted/suspended so that this information about additional accounts would likely not have impact beyond the running issues

The system eBay uses to detect things doesn't scan the names, or at least the bots need much more links than just a name. I have a last name extremely unique, maybe less than 20 have it in USA.

Easy links = phone number, bank account, (same exact name + same exact address), same exact IP.

Phone numbers are automatic MC011, or at least within 60 days, same as bank accounts. Same exact static IP is automatic MC011 within about 30 days if not sooner.

Most of the other things need additional information to link for it to cause a problem. Thats why we use basically a hybrid stealth now, but make no mistake stealth practice is still needed to operate eBay without issues.
