Reactive message aftermath assistant
 

So i got a reactivate message after 5 listings and successfully got it reinstated again based on prior experience it usually gets instantly closed again after I list sometime im wondering if waiting like 1-2 weeks like relisting items would help that. looking to see if anyone else encountered this

I got permanent ban always after this reinstate.

Im not reinstating anymore those account because it is time wasting.

Definitely feels frustrating with these platforms - like SaiJin stated, more information provided can be a good analysis/learning opportunity for the forum

When i got reactivate after my first listing, have called to customer support to reinstate. They have reinstated but they all sooner or later. No one from these account has survived.

I got a reactivate on a new account and once I phoned in, various questions were asked about the business and location. Once I verified, the account was reinstated immediately and it has worked ever since with no issues. My take on this message is that some flag is requiring a verification on eBays end, either a business address, ip address issue etc

reactivate isnt always a bad thing...like someone said it could be a KYC...if you get reinstated, usually it means the rep hasnt seen any immediate risks especially the usa.ireland reps, however, the philiipines would usually ban you on the spot on that call.

If you get permanently banned afterwards, another specialised team takes a look at your account to see if that rep did evrything by the books and they have a system that shows alot more risks factors than the other rep.Its at this point you get perm banned.

KYC....know your customer.....they just want to know who you are, what your selling bla bla

have your accounts stayed opened after you called them about the reactivate message

About two months ago. When I called, it was a US based cs agent for sure, based on the accent. Since I knew my info was good, I volunteered that I may have been using a vpn for Hulu and logged in while using the vpn. I was asked to confirm my name, business name, address and then I was asked about the address again, (it’s not a home address). After that I was told it was all done by automation and I should be good to go. I was surprised and said, “I can provide anything more that you need” and was told, “you are all good, give it up to 15 min”

After you got the account reinstated how long after did you start selling ??
right away or you waited it out??

Right away. I was sure that eBay flagged my account incorrectly, based on the speed of reinstatement

Yes it is, the issues were eBay’s fault not mine
