Account restricted - Add tracking to shipments, wtf?

Before 5min I received notification from eGay that my account is restricted. First time in my life I see this.

Here's what we need
Add tracking to shipments

Provide tracking details for eBay to confirm delivery. If you don't have tracking, the task will resolve when eBay confirms the buyer received the item.
Add tracking numbers

When I click "Add tracking to shipments" ebay Redirects me to the Awaiting orders page that dont have any Awaiting shipment orders to enter tracking (blank).

In last 90 days I have 3 orders, for all of that 3 orders I have uploaded tracking on time (5min after I shipped the item)

What the hell is this, anyone have any solution or knows possible outcome.

Your account will most likely be manually reviewed and if everything is in order unrestricted. You just tripped up a bot somewhere with the items you sold / speed of sales / order value.

when you click on order details,is the tracking there?
Not sure when you are saying,that you have added tracking for 3 orders or ??

This seems to be a newer variation of the MC011 where they asked for tracking "even though the labels are bought from ebay" .

Then when you give those to them they ask for documents, then after that a perm suspension.

Have you given them the trackings? If not, I'd call customer support to help you instead of uploading the trackings through their links.

To be clear:

1. Before 2 days at 19:05 CET I have received following email from ebay:

We are making changes to the way we process payments on eBay. Going forward, we’ll make your funds available for payout within 72 hours after we’ve confirmed delivery of the item. Until then, you’ll see a “hold” on your funds. This process helps keep our marketplace safe.

To avoid any future restrictions, please take action on these open issues by May 27, 2025.

When I click on "Add tracking numbers" ebay Redirects me to the Awaiting shipment page, which is blank because there is no awaiting shipment orders, next image - >

Just to be clear, I have 3 orders, one showing delivered and 2 on its way to the customers (tracking numbers ofc are added)

2. I have sent an email to the support and they replied:

Service. My name is Shiv and I will be happy to assist you regarding of your account.



I understand that you are concern about the restriction placed on your account and we really appreciate you for adding tracking and successfully delivering the item. Rest assured, I will surely assist you further to understand this.



I have reviewed your account, I would like to inform you that your account is under review, and once our team will complete the verification, and then we will uplift the restriction. It will hardly take 24 to 48 business hours.



Thank you again for contacting eBay Customer Service.

After that when I logged in to my Account I got notification that account is Under review.

1 hour later I logged in and there was nothing, Funds were not on hold. No restriction no nothing!

3. Same day few hours after my account is doing fine, at the same time as previous email (19:05 CET) I received same email that my account is restricted and that i have to add tracking numbers again, wtf??? Bot?

Definitely tripping up a bot.

It's happened on one of my accounts where I was selling a mix of high value items (sent tracked & insured) and low value items (sent untracked)

It was causing mayhem. Everytime my account got put under review they unrestricted it after a while. A real person with common sense saw everything was in order.

Going to have to contact eb support on this one - trying to resolve it on the site isn't going to be so smooth

So everything went well for you on the end?

You know what is weird for me, that they lifted the Restriction and everything was fine, and later on I have received same restriction, same e-mail in same time (19.05 CET).

Whats even more funnier is that last night funds from one order that was delivered And funds were paid (sent) off on my payoneer, even my account is Restricted. F**k me.

This situation is so odd - you're still getting payments? I know you just contacted by e-mail but hard to say if you should wait or try the "call me" option

One shippement is not being scanned (Thailand), one delivered, one on its way and showing movement.

What if first shippement is not showing delivered because of no scans?

UPDATE

I was busy these few days soo i didnt reply.

I received email that they will review account and get back to me in 48-72h.

Two days passed after the email and the account is fine and running without problems 😁 :)

How I would know that? Is there anyway to get that info.

Biggest problem is that sometimes on eBay tracking some packages are not showing delivered, but on the tracking sites (like 17track) it shows delivered....
