I know people say don't re-use numbers but does ebay really care? what if an account was suspended but you don't use the same number for 3-4 months? feel free to PM me. I'm just annoyed with ebay

I haven't tried that - hopefully someone has had a good try with that...I have buyer accounts with same number but not seller accounts

Personally wouldnt risk it

Numbers do get recycled so it may well be OK but at the same time its so easy to get a new number I dont see why it would be worth taking any risk

OP, laziness and reuse of old info can potentially kill an otherwise good account

Yes, from my experience it’s almost an automatic suspension. You can even tell after the account gets set up. That’s one of the easiest detection methods eBay has, and for those oblivious to even the basics probably try to do this, then get suspended and assume it’s not possible to get back on.

I’d be shocked if you’re not suspended within 30 days, if not, you’ll get hit soon as the account grows to any significant amount of money. Then it’ll get held for 90 days

Sometimes I think they do this on purpose, once the account gets money they pull the suspension.
