Doesn't eb just tell the buyer that the item is no longer available for purchase? Since seller has been suspended.

@kirkland, think there is a wait to access funds - like 90 days even if no bank attached but wait for others to confirm

How do they send it to you? Do you attach the bank at the 90 day mark? Or do they send you a check etc

It depends why it has been suspended

They do let you add a bank account to withdraw the funds but only after a certain period and its not always worth wasting a bank account on that

If my memory is correct you can also ask for a mailed check. This hasn't happened to me since early 2023, and I had a bank account attached already.

I usually try to sell before I add a bank to see if the account will last. I have one account that I created on June 28th, 2025 so I will have to wait until July 28th, 2025 and I have another one that I created July 2nd, 2025 so I will have to wait until August 2nd, 2025 to list. I'm just afraid that after I sell like 10 or 11 items ebay will limit me and ask for documents

Its OK to usually wait just 10 days for the listing to be done

Then 3/4 days after its up it generally means the account is OK and good to add a bank account to

Waiting 30 days just isnt really needed anymore

How does Ebay know if you have shipped the item since there is no way you can add tracking to the order?

I believe you can get a good rep to submit a request to the back office to add a bank account.

Thats what the rep told me. Cant always trust them though, as we all know. It was a English speaking rep though, so maybe there's hope

For the same reason barcyglobe mentioned. Test the ebay account before wasting a bank account.

Meaning you made the sale June 28th and July 2nd respectively? And are waiting a month to add the bank after?

It does seem that "adding the bank too fast" can trigger some suspicion. God knows what eBay's reasoning is behind that.

I was going to wait a month to start listing. then after item(s) sells wait a week or 2 to add bank as a matter of fact I have it listed on my calendar to list an item on July 15th, 2025 (Tuesday). I just may list an 13 - inch macbook air.
