What causes MC999 suspension?


I got a ban wave of MC999, i lost about 4 accounts

I use mobile hotspot IP
Bank account never used on another account
These accounts are over 1 month aged no new information changed in the past month
No crazy sales. sold 40 items totaling $330




eBay message:

maybe you've sold too quickly or it could have been the category that you listed in.

I never liked mobile IP in USA.

40 items in 1 month could trigger it.


Try ipburger residential IP. try the static one to save $ for 1 account.

Try 1-2 items a week, wait for feedback, increase to 5 the next week. wait for feedback

Same here, both my accounts got suspended. And I wasn't selling anything. I was just a buyer. Less than a month old.

The common denominator is that we both used mobile hotspot. Mines is a Cricket wireless hotspot from an iPhone. I think eBay found a better way to track down mobile hotspots IP and suspended you for it.

that's a good question. I used to see sellers selling windows 10 serial codes etc. and starbucks codes. things like that could get someone suspended

If you got a ban wave, I would presume you're somehow getting detected by their system.

I do not know this to be true, but I've always felt if I get suspended from any marketplace its best to wait at least 30 days before opening another account. Take the time in between to figure out why I'm repeating past mistakes.

The more you reattempt quickly without fixing your issue, higher chance you'll get put into higher risk, making it easier to get flagged.

Yes , same items

but theyre low risk items. theyre not VERO or anything at all.

although im ripping same items with same titles since im dropshipping for some of them

this is also what im thinking.

from my previous experience, yes.

then during the holidays there will be rarely any bans. even MC011s are delayed since i get an influx of orders in holidays.

Then i get the MC011's and stuff in january

How long inbetween was it from first account going to the rest? Hrs? Days? Etc

Just a day or 2 in between each MC999 or MC011 as of lately.

But this was the original mc11 where they ask for docs and receipts and to ship all orders??

Or was it the mc11 that said you was permanently restricted

Yes,Ebay could ask you to prove you have the inventory on hand,and if it is a pre order Xmas toys,it will ask you for proof from the factory that you have placed the order.
Ebay usually send out notices to its toy sellers what is hot this coming Xmas
