Slow sales?
 

Has anyone experienced slow sales now? I saw a tiktok video where a seller was saying you need to "Promote" your listings for a fee to have better sales

Haha, yeah I literally just thinking this. I had a great August for back to school shopping, my sales are down this month across all markets. Probably my fault but still feeling it.

TikTok is getting pretty heavy with competition so makes sense to need to pay to promote

Yeah - kick out the idiots who planned and ran covid and are actively destroying the world economy. It will never happen though as they control the world.

The trick is to turn on promotions, the algorithms will then push your listings to the top. Though now the top slot is reserved exclusively for priority (PPC) campaigns.

It's all a scam though. ROAS is terrible on priority advertising sales. You have to increase prices to a level where you're ripping off customers just to pay for the advertising costs.

And the changes to general campaigns in June in the UK (and probably other markets) are just pure theft by eBay. if anyone clicks your promoted listing, you now get charged the ad fee on ANY sale (on that listings) within the next 30 days, even if the actual buyer never clicked your ad and found it organically.

Unfortunately, eBay is pay-to-play now. You have to do the sums for each listing and work out whether it's better to have low sales with a better profit margin, or high sales with promoted listings and a low profit margin.

It is true, I promote all my listings, I hate to see the performance if I did not

Ebay is very slow, Im trying to sell clothing but not finding any business on ebay only the weekends.
Anyone have experiences with Poshmark, mercari or depop?
I tried signing up to Poshmark but was instantly restricted as beinglimked to another account which was a total lie

September is usually a slow month for all kinds of financial markers from what I noticed.

YOu should contact poshmark about this to rectify it.

Poshmark has a community and if you're new, you'll soon find that the longer you sell there, the more you'll be integrated to the community.

They are good for clothing.
