My items are not selling well. Why could that be? I have about 10,000 active listings

Is there a difference in sales between steadily uploading 10 items daily until reaching 10,000, and occasionally uploading 500 items until reaching 10,000?
I uploaded occasionally, but my items are not selling well.
I only sell about 0 to 3 per day, around 50 per month.
Is this normal? or
Am I missing something?

either your items are not liquid or they are too expensive

quantity of listings is not decisive , some sellers have top listings where every listing sells hundreds or even thousands of units every month

How's the competition market OP?

It is the economy, which hits the lower-middle class hard-auto insurance, health insurance, property insurance have surged, more so if you live in CA or TX with flooding, wild fire .
Do you do your grocery shopping?food prices must have gone up 10-25%.
Our local dentists are starving, unless the patients are covered by their insurance, dental is the first item to skip.

You have better idea??

Fed just cut rate by 25 basis points, will cut more before yearend, what does that tell you?

All these large sales venues rotate the listings so everyone has a chance to sell something, what are you selling?
Are they consumer staples cheaper than Walmart or dollar stores?

not derailing,Fed cuts rate because the economy is weak ,and people are strapped .
They dont have spare change for discretionary items, thats why I ask what is he selling, comsumer staples or collectibles?
If you can beat WMT or AMZN,then you do well.

I think there is some truth to economy being bad. I think we have been in some sort of recession like state since covid ended their lockouts. And it only is getting worse. But maybe I am the only one who's having this outlook and everyone else is doing so much better.

Are you paying to promote the listings ?

If not....

Are you the cheapest, or do you offer the fastest delivery.

If the answer to these is no, that's why your'e not selling anything.

Yeah we can see it wants to get active, that's the issue. Flooding the forum with mumbo jumbo posts that drive people away.

I mean you make a tonne of useless posts as well to make the forum look busy but at least you try and help with problems and can string a sentence together

I have usually kept my ad rate at 2% but recently doubled it just to see if it makes a difference in sales... So far I am getting more views, hopefully sales will follow as well

sax4 won't be driven away - "it" drives on taunting you.

Actually, if you end up talking to sax4, there is a lot of fun and wise info to be had :)

Food is free in jail and you do not need to bring your own toilet paper.

Increasing ad fees to 10-12% the past few days has resulted in a few more sales, not sure if it is due to that or because it is the weekend...
