Run & gun method So, I have been studying over the Ebay Stealth Book lately, and I am seeing from the forum that ebay still asks for an ID. Is there a certain period when they ask? To my knowledge, why wouldn’t it be better to run & gun (push a higher selling limit) VS aging a ACC that is eventually going to get clipped when the ID time comes.
Or maybe I’m missing something with the ID… (if so please reach out and point right direction) |

Also most selling account don't just get a high selling limit. Plus if you just sell too much too fast, they'll nail you too.
I prefer a long lasting account. But I'm sure others will chime in. |
Re: Run & gun method i think what i’m trying to say best is, if I do stealth accounts which have separate names, I have no ID to verify account & Ebay is going to ask eventually one day . So wouldn’t it be best to get as many sales in a short period of time ? Maybe like 1000 a month , & then just repeat process when day comes. Or is it possible to make long lasting Ebay accounts without ever being asked for a ID. Also doing business accounts so super high limit out the jump. |

It's just standard now
There is no preset limit on the ID request it depends on the account activity. Selling lots in a short period of time will trigger it |

Another alternative I think is buying an account? The marketplace has a seller that sells both UK and USA accounts, I'd recommend DMing her and see if it's a good fit for you? |
Re: Run & gun method Thank you guys so much! |
| solefoodbk | 09-25-2025 01:56 AM | Re: Run & gun method High limits mean absolutely nothing. If you create a new account and sold 1,000 items the first month, you'd probably see MC011 after around 100-200 of those items sold. You'll never get 1,000+ on a new account. Unless its some category I'm unaware of, it's not based on common sense, you have to understand how the algorithms assume risk.
You are asking questions that an algorithm is designed to detect. |
