Auto restock / fix quantity to 1

I see this asked before over the years but nothing was satisfactory especially with multiple accounts it gets expensive fast.

Does anyone know of anything?

Thanks

I always set it to qty 2 so if one sells I can increase it without relisting, also makes the buyer think the item is scarce and hopefully drives more sales...

Yes but I'm looking for a service that does it automatically

Not something that might be reliable for multiple accounts without either causing a link or tripping a security flag on eb...at least not a service offered with authorization on this forum...

I'm not sure why you think it would cause a link? There are plenty of big sellers who have been doing this for years now and a few services offering it. Problem is the services offering it don't support multiple accounts so it's expensive.

If you just sort the quantity, this would take you less than 10 minutes to resolve, no? So whats the issue? An automated process kind of negates the point.

Assuming all items sold out just automatically update afterwards, don't you think that might piss off someone? Or make them question the item they bought?

Normally what I do is keep 1 quantity, sometimes more depending the item, when it sells out I like to wait 2 weeks, then update. I sell on various marketplaces as well so it's not like the item can never sell again. But if I'm thinking from a customer perspective, they're most likely to check the listing shortly after buying, or after delivery. Not again a week later, unless they're upset.

Keeping the item quantity scarce, especially when its variation listing and they can see items have sold, or sold recently it automatically increases demand. I've seen it so many times. You sell one item, then shortly after sell another from the same listing. Strictly because the customer sees that notification on the listing someone else bought, only one left in stock in the variation they want, increases urgency by default.

A service working over multiple accounts could potentially cause cookies, etc that would link accounts - seems kind of logical and potentially problem-causing to me.

Yes exactly I want to fix the quantity at 2.
Auctiva doesn't do it, annoyingly inkfrog does it for Shopify and Amazon but not Ebay.

Collectibles are dead, buyers come to EBAY to buy non discretionary items they need, like household staples, they dont care if you have one or two or ten.
if you have more than one, chances are they are old new stuff,so thats better than just one .

qtyman - Quantity Manager, I've been using it for years to to keep the qty of all my listings at 1, restocks to 1 every time I make a sale until my inventory is sold out, costs $5 a month.

On the plus side you need a separate qtyman account for each eBay account so there's no linkage.

On the minus side you need a separate qtyman account for each eBay account so you have to pay $5 per account.
