HMRC and eBay Account type Help
 

Hi All,

I operate a few selling accounts on different platforms that all link back to my business. However, I have one backup eBay account that is setup as a personal account, in the past I would just report this income as part of my business. But now that eBay is reporting this revenue to HMRC they are going to believe it is personal income and expect me to report it – is anyone in the same boat as me and what are you doing?, if I just tell HMRC that it is part of my business will they just accept that (the numbers will add up)?

The account has revenue of about 11k, cannot be updated to be linked to my business as it will likely get blocked and obviously I don’t want to stop selling on it.

Any tip of info would be greatly appreciated.
