| | | fivesfull21 | 11-19-2025 01:11 AM | People paying for MC999 reinstatement?! Is this real? Ok, I am on some FB groups and there are a bunch of people offering reinstatement and feedback removal service, things like that. Many of these people offer the services up front before payment and they're all India. If this is legit it will change everything but I feel like if it was legit I would of heard it before. Anybody have luck with one of these types of services? |
| Ebayorbust | 11-19-2025 04:10 AM | Re: People paying for MC999 reinstatement?! Is this real? Just bare in mind that the vast majority of MC999 reinstatements are only temporary. Permanent suspension usually follows as soon as you try to list again. |
| Camaro2SS | 11-19-2025 07:02 AM | Re: People paying for MC999 reinstatement?! Is this real? What a fool! Dude it is ALL BS! These are not insiders! These are Pakistanis who will login into your eBay account and will try their luck to chat with some idiot agent who might or might not reinstate your account. Something you can do yourself! |
Re: People paying for MC999 reinstatement?! Is this real? I wouldn't really touch these services - waste of energy and time. |

I'd personally sytay away from people like these specially if they are on facebook.
If anything, ask Josh in the marketplace since he has an appeals service in the forum |
| haohigh | 11-19-2025 09:03 PM | Re: People paying for MC999 reinstatement?! Is this real? I tried the service couple of years ago and it worked but the account was fragile. Anyways I do not think such service works now ebay patched the loophole(took away the privilege of customer service agent to reinstate accounts). Anyone offering such service now is most likely a scammer. Do you mind share the link? |

Do you mind share the link? | You are confusing between REAL insiders ( that dont exist anymore) and this guy asking about people (usually from Pakistan) who will take your money and then try their luck to reinstate your account. You can do it yourself , call ebay or chat. Same exact outcome, only free! |

| SaiJin | 11-20-2025 01:30 PM | Re: People paying for MC999 reinstatement?! Is this real? Do I have to keep reminding everyone to be civil?
There's no reason why name calling should be a thing.
OP is new to the forum and he asked a legitimate question.
First and last warning. |

Don't worry about people.
Ask your questions whenever you need info.
That's what the forum is for. |

Something you can do yourself! | Hey bro I tried messaging them and they called me back in about 2 minutes. 5 Minutes later than MC999 was lifted and the account is good to go. Super easy, and I wouldn't have even thought of trying if you wouldn't have mentioned it.
I have 5 more accounts out of 30 that were instantly MC999'd so hopefully my luck will continue.
Gratitude on the info guys. |

Gratitude on the info guys. | Suppose you are telling the truth , they are still NOT insiders. Did you provide them with your account info such as username and password? |
| Alex_Pro_Etsy | 11-22-2025 10:33 AM | Re: People paying for MC999 reinstatement?! Is this real? I’ve seen those offers too, and honestly I would be extremely careful. Anything involving “reinstatement” or “feedback removal” from outside contacts especially people on Facebook groups is almost always a scam.
No third party has the ability to access eBay’s internal systems, remove feedback, or reinstate accounts. If someone claims they can do it upfront without payment, that’s usually just a trick to get your login details or compromise your account.
If these services were real, everyone in the selling community would know about them by now and eBay would have already shut them down. The only safe and legitimate way to handle reinstatements or feedback issues is directly through eBay support.
I would stay far away from those offers. |
| fivesfull21 | 11-22-2025 11:07 AM | Re: People paying for MC999 reinstatement?! Is this real? No fellas I just logged into the MC999 restricted account, asked ebay for a call back and then spoke to customer support for about 5 minutes. Completely free of charge and I didn't have to let anyone get into my account.
I've got a few more accounts that got MC999d when I created them so I'm going to work on those today. |
| fivesfull21 | 11-22-2025 11:39 AM | Re: People paying for MC999 reinstatement?! Is this real? Camaro2SS - I took your advice on calling and brother so far it's worked everytime. I'm hoping that once these accounts get selling if they get hit with MC999 it will be this easy. No paperwork, documents nothing just a 5 minute phone call.
Now if my newly created account gets hit with an MC999 and then reinstated, am I more likely to face scrutiny on this account in the future? |

Now if my newly created account gets hit with an MC999 and then reinstated, am I more likely to face scrutiny on this account in the future? | I appreciate that took took my advice. People often times ignore my advice because I come across like an A hole. Sometimes the biggest A holes are your best friends. Many people here either lack real experience or they purposefully omit information. This type of attitude is across all groups forums etc ... Also what works for one might not works for another and vice versa. |
| dsdominators | 11-29-2025 07:26 AM | Re: People paying for MC999 reinstatement?! Is this real? My advice is: Don't pay anyone to un-MC999 your account. It's impossible.
Only MC011 are fixable. (And that's only if eBay keeps your listings Live, despite hitting you with the MC011 message)
With the MC999 even if you magically manage to re-instate your account, a few days later it's getting re-suspended. |

I called myself. |
| sam999 | 12-03-2025 07:13 PM | Re: People paying for MC999 reinstatement?! Is this real? Has it been more than 3 days since you sold anything yet without another MC999?
Did you manage to keep your original seller limits without them being crippled?
In my years of experience the answer is no to at least one of these in 95% of cases |

Sam999 - I haven't sold anything on these accounts yet. AI kicked off an MC999 suspension but by calling in and talking to an ebay rep they got my account verified and active. We will see how long this lasts but so far all 8 accounts are looking good. I will be transitioning to seller on these accounts over the next month. I will keep you posted.
DSdominators - I agree, the paid MC999 service is the same thing we can do. Just call in. So far none have been re suspended but the real test is when I get them seller activated. Will keep you posted bro. | | All times are GMT -5. The time now is 09:45 AM. | |
