Marketplace reselling has had a good run for the last 15-20 years but I feel its coming to an end
Policy Enforcement on these marketplaces Is getting tighter and tighter and with A.I now scanning everything its going to be nigh on impossible to operate in any grey markets
Customers are becoming more aware and sharper whilst also realising they hold all the power and all of the chips , to put it bluntly they are a pain in the fvcking A$$
The marketplaces themselves are now exercising pay to display models disguised as advertising and have nerfed organic reach in the process
Legal issues and takedown bots from 3rd parties are everywhere
I have a couple of stores across a few platforms but I'm starting to realise the end is nigh , the day of the online Del Boy are finished.
I have a meeting Friday for a new A.I related venture I'm jumping ship. |
