Account creation threshold
 

Realistically, how many accounts can you have with the same SSN and new EIN? I always get paranoid even when changing phone, IP, and variable addresses, because the SSN can still theoretically link.

Is using a combo of variables still viable, minus the SSN, or is it still the same risk as day one with MP?

10 years ago I remember eBay reps telling me over the phone I can have up to 7 eBay accounts under the same name and address.

Nowadays just 1.
Tried, tested, verified. Trust me.

I currently have a variation of ein and ss in the same address on two accounts.

Oddly enough, I recently lost a really old account after yahoo terminated the email address. The rep said to just create a new account since I could not recover the account without the original email.

Of course you can recover the account.
Just prove you're the owner, provide them the account's information (names, address, phone number, bank account linked) over the phone and they will be able to update your email.

I have heard that they let you make 5 to 10 accounts.

But I'm too paranoid and just have 1 per.

Because if you have all 10 accounts linked, one goes down , the other one goes too right?

Correct - too easy for any linked accounts to go down when 1 goes down - not worth the risk

The email was terminated. Caused the whole account to evaporate.
