Ebay removed item = red flag 🚩 ?
 

Hello. I have aged ( 6 years old ) ebay account. Where was sold high risk pricy branded items. All has been delivered, no any return so far.

Have listed one item before Christmas. After hour item has been removed as counterfeit ( seems like by AI because listing was never active ) it means now i have red dlag on my account ?

If i will sell now some cheaper items, does it give anything to my account or nothing ?

I don't want to lose it :(

Did eBay remove it or was it reported by a 3rd party?

I have had 3rd party companies report listings that were already sold as well but it was never by eBay themselves.

One way to prevent this with specific brands is always ensure you end the listing, having it out of stock but still listed allows the AI to find it somehow and flag it.

Probably it is AI because listing has only 2 views and after that removed.
And in ebay message was written like that “ This determination was made using automation or artificial intelligence. This came to our attention through automated detection. “

I want to relist it, but with new photos, new background. But thinking after what time is safe to relist ?

Nah, you're good. I get listings removed every other day due to ⊗⊗⊗⊗ counterfeit reports from competitors and some customers.

Yeah I get that same sentence, however right below it for me it says "If you believe a mistake has been made, you can contact the rights owner directly.
You can send an email to:"

Assuming you don't have that then eBay probably did it. If its the brand doing it, there should be some mention of them in the message. I would more concerned personally if eBay was flagging my listings than a 3rd party automation system. Because if it is eBay than your in their system, and something you're doing is causing red flags which can easily lead to soft or hard suspensions.

If it has been removed once, it will be removed again.
Don't relist. Second take down of that listing will definitely put a flag on your account.

Based on personal experience before AI is in the picture.

Listing got taken down , I relisted, it gets taken down even faster then I get the 7 day suspension.

Description, title, image all has to be different completly .

So I didn't list it in the same account for about 2-3 months and no problems since.

So for me, I couldn't relist to protect my account

Ebay just know,you are not the first or last trying to relist ,it is not just the image,it is you,the image,the description,the category .
Also,like the other said,if you are innocent,you will contact them .

From what I have experienced, you have one of the following types of takedowns: Counterfeit policy, Vero- company/third party.

Counterfeit policy is eBay grabbing your listing usually early.

A vero is now specified with AI, or a customer service agent has removed your listing. Then it will mention the company information and appeal.

Tbh, I never retest the water over the keywords.
