| | | deniz718 | 03-16-2026 03:52 PM | open ebay business question hello can anyone share steps on how can I open an ebay business account without adding bank information to it
or it isn't possible |
| phaz0rz | 03-18-2026 12:35 PM | Re: open ebay business question It's not possible. Without a bank account there is no way for you to get payouts. Especially with that USA flag you're flying. |

I know when you open a personal account you have to list right away to create the sellers account |
| phaz0rz | 03-18-2026 02:52 PM | Re: open ebay business question I wouldn't be able to tell you. It's been a long time since I've used a new account.
Maybe someone else can give you a better answer but I don't think they'll let you sell without adding a bank account. Because if they did, how would they get their money back if you scammed someone? |
| phaz0rz | 03-18-2026 05:47 PM | Re: open ebay business question Idk. I'm a seller. Anytime they've needed money that I owe, they use my payout source.. which is my bank account. |

| Enid Nathaniei | 04-16-2026 08:29 PM | Re: open ebay business question It is virtually impossible to open and properly use an eBay business account without providing any banking information. |
| Camaro2SS | 04-17-2026 02:48 AM | Re: open ebay business question US Ebay business does NOT require you to add bank account, you can skip this step. But if you want to get paid then you will need to add bank account later. |
Re: open ebay business question deniz718, what are you aiming on selling? |

| Automasters | 04-18-2026 02:50 PM | Re: open ebay business question Yes but to activate this requires more verification, bank / card statements, etc.... |

Spending the available balance is still an option for sellers. It helps to keep funds on the site, leading to another round of selling fees and promotion costs rather than a payout where eBay doesn't make any money.
Still though, I haven't been able to run an account (since managed payments rolled out) with no bank account attached. Nor would I try. It was a priceless workaround in the days of Paypal payouts but at this point, I feel like eBay would feel you attempting to manipulate a loophole, from over a mile away. :violin: |
| agent006140 | 04-19-2026 04:36 AM | Re: open ebay business question Back then,Paypal would even send you a money order for a fee, then it turns into a check instead.
Some folks like to leave their money in their Paypal account, get a Paypal debit card and use it as a credit card,Paypal gives you 1% cash rebate.
It wont work at Walmart, you know how penny pinching WMT is,it knows it is a debit card ! |

| phaz0rz | 04-19-2026 02:24 PM | Re: open ebay business question Can't really say that I blame agent for going off on tangents since there is really nothing to discuss in this thread. I wasn't a seller in the time of e-commerce checks and money orders floating around.. but whatever. Sure, yeah, that happened at one point.
It's a dead horse we are kicking around here. |
