Avoid Reactivate Ebay Alert

Hi I just opened 3x ebay business sole LLC accounts mins ago
and got selling limits for 2x accounts for 5000/500k and 1x account for 25/700

I'm not going list auctions on them anytime soon I'm just gonna sit and age it for a few months
My Question Is Is it best that I aged them for about 6 months to avoid the "reactivate message"???

What I like to do is also simulate buyer activity for 1 - 2 months.
Just having them sit for months is non-effective. I found a couple accounts that I had forgotten about for 2 years recently that had been just sitting around aging (and with buyer activity as well)... The moment I listed their first item they got MC'ed.
I firmly believe the accounts need consistent and recent activity.

I understand that, I'm talking about letting the account age and not sell anything for about 4 months and after that timeframe would listing my first item would avoid getting the reactivate message??

You need activity on your account, you can't just call it "aging" without any activity on your account. You only (most of the time) get MC999 if they can't verify your identity after you created a seller account. It's better to provide as much information right from the start to let their algorithm verify your identity if you want to avoid MC999.

all my business accounts are in public database so I'm not even worried,
I have the ein, ssn, dob for all of them and I have MANY OF THEM LOL that can easily be verified I just haven't added it to ebay yet but I'll take your advice and do so but if they had trouble verifying it I don't think they would have gave me 500k limits..but making more tomorrow so I already know now what to do , but thanks for you input (NOT WORRIED ABOUT MC999, WORRIED ABOUT REACTIVATE MESSAGE BECAUSE I NEVER PASS THEM)

They don’t determine selling limits based on your EIN, SSN, LLC, or bank verification. These are strictly for identity verification, and if it fails, you will end up with MC999. That’s not to say you can’t get an MC999 related specifically to failed identity verification. If your initial limit is less than $500k after registration, then you have a higher chance of getting a reactivation message.

Lately I've noticed they've been really really aggressive on new accounts.

Anyhow, I am assuming you're aware of the fact that they dont give 2 sh!tz how legit we are and if we provide real information or not :d

I think generally speaking non e of these companies care about seller and even buyers. Amazon used to pretend like they cared about their consumers but once they got to a point where they know , most buyers are never going to leave Amazon, they treat buyers just as badly. Everyone is disposable.

Sadly, a sign when a company basically has a monopoly on the market...

Does ebay provide selling limits on business accounts without having to list an item?

Not sure if people will stay and never leave.
Yesterday I placed an order of 3 items -some cream, some nuts and it said earliest delivery date is May 26 th,2026.
That does not sound like AMZN.
If it continues,I will be going to WMT/

wonder why?
AMZN always brag they have the fastest delivery as they kept leasing local empty mall spaces and turn them into warehouses .

Back in 2023 I tried to reactive my old account from around 2010, it eventually got MC999. I kept calling to try and fix it, so eventually I spoke with someone who requested I do verification questions. I know better not to do that, but I had nothing to lose back then.

Once I did that, they traced me back to another account from 2022 I made, which was under the same SSN. Different EIN. They did link me off this. However, never mentioned any of the previous accounts I made under LLC with same SSN. I have always thought this, and think it is fairly true....

When you get a MC999, or suspended under any reason you're fresh in the system. The more time passes, there are so many variables that happen which makes automatic links very hard to detect. Ebay only can process and keep data relevant for so long.

If they wanted to, they could link anyone based on SSN. They just don't have the resources or desire to do that. And legally a LLC is separate entity. Unless you get detected by algos, a human will never manually check your account and needs additional info to verify it. Thats why we don't have issues with multiple LLCs under same SSN if the EIN is different.
