inkfrog closure

although it is not directly related to stealth but since inkfrog is going out of business , can anyone recommend convenient and tested alternatives?

Hmm discussions on reddit haven't yield alternatives

Pardon my ignorance but what service did they provide, exactly? Those annoying overly HTML'd listing templates with tons of links, slideshows, and external images?
If you're just using it to make listings.. why? I think that kind of automation is exactly the sort of thing eBay is trying to eliminate. You can create a fresh listing in under a minute..

Not even trying to be abrasive here, I just don't understand the purpose of the tool. Just going down the list of features listed on the inkfrog website.. most of them are already available for free on eBay. With the exception of cross platform inventory syncing. :coffee:

the main service is ability to list unlimited quantities of listings within a few minutes incl. quick relistings. ebay is free but doing it manually is very time consuming unless you only have a few permanent listings

Re: inkfrog closure

the added bonus of inkfrog is not having to sign in to ebay and risk linking all your accounts.

It was a great database, you could re-list long deleted listings.

I took a chance with their shared token and would move listing around several eBay accounts.

I have some very complicated multi variation listings, the idea of re-writing them would take ages. I've taken 2 year breaks, it's been a godsend.

It wasn't perfect but seeing as though was paying next to nothing it was ideal for me. Alternatives are (now) considerably dearer.

Did you use an inkfrog account per eBay account?

Not that it matters now but sharing ebay accounts via one inkfrog account definitely links them via the shared token. I could handle that risk, but something to think about if you're looking for an alternative service.

Really I didnt know using one inkfrog could link your ebay accounts.
I have 2 ebay accounts only and run them with a singe inkfrog.
I really dont want inkfrog to go away because of the good pricing.
(I was on a grandfathered plan and paying $10 month for unlimited ebay accounts)

Haha, I used Inkfrog when I first started taking this game seriously back 2015-2017. I stopped sometime in 2017. A lot of these sites are useless now with AI.

When I was using it I was so paranoid of linkage I think in 2016 I'd rarely even log into my eBay account to list something. I had like 5+ accounts I used to operate it with.

Haven't heard of that name in years!

I use CrazyLister and have for the last 8 years. They allow you to make nice custom descriptions which I prefer from a professional front. You can also do many of the same functions as Inkfrog but it'll cost you more. I don't use it for many accounts, more so to customize my description professionally.

Auctiva still exists but I think the pricing point is higher, right?

I'm sure Auctiva is fine for some, but given you can only link it to one eBay account it isn't even close to being as flexible as inkfrog was for those who had, or planned on having, many accounts.

I've had eBay accounts which have become 'unstable' so I'd use a back up or create another and inkfrog came to the rescue. Piece of cake to move listing around.

As I said above, they could potentially be linked by the shared token but it was never an issue for me.

One newer one I've been testing is Sellers Delight. It's UK-focused and still beta, but the imports, bulk revise and eBay publishing side seem promising so far. Feels more lightweight than some of the multichannel apps.

now that inkfrog is gone can you tell me which VM is best to use?
I want to open my ebay account on my home computer keeping everything separate and unique for my ebay.
How is everyone else keeping up?
