Default Whats the going rate for aged TRS accounts with 1000s of positive feedback?

Apologize if this is against the rules, please remove it if so. This is not a solicitation to sell my accounts and I am not interested in doing so.

However, I am curious. Over the years as Ive been on ebay Ive built a number of seller accounts that I still sell on and am still active on. Most are TRS accounts, with 1000s of positive feedback, and 5 years older or more. Obv selling limits are higher than any normal person would ever use. They are all in my personal name but could be turned into business accounts given proper documentation.

Looking down the road I wonder if I ever leave ebay to pursue other endeavors (no intention of this any time soon), if I was interested in selling these accounts... what would be a fair price for them? I remember when I was new to stealth I would buy fresh accounts for 300$ and I imagine these accounts would have to command some substantial premium over that, no? Any guesses as to what they would go for? This is just for the account themselves, not the actual "business" behind them (supply chain etc)

As mentioned this thread is just for fun and I am not trying to solicit any buyers, if mods think this thread is inappropriate feel free to delete or w/e

such an account is worth several K but you will have a hard time to find buyers , most people do not invest but speculate using small amounts of money. I encountered this problem often in various areas

It's only worth as much as a potential buyer is willing to pay. Adding a new bank/card, adding an EIN, and switching selling niches all make this a pretty risky transaction.

Anyway, offer stands.

if the account is registered and verified to a new company first and runs properly as a company you can offer the company for sale rather than the ebay account

the ebay account itself , if you try to sell it as is but all offers would be minimal , if not 150 bucks than a few hundred more

such accounts are worth a lot more , thousands of dollars but they must have a proper company behind them which you could sell officially

there are companies that specialize in middlesmen services for people who are looking to sell their company so you could turn to them but this would take a proper legal setup on your side

I sell my UK premiums (2+ years old/active sellers/1000s+ feedback) at £2000+ per account.
Already sold 16 of them, so don't settle for chump change. Those accounts are priceless for the right person.

if it is really old US accounts with company set up and lots of selling history then 2K pounds would be too low too. it is essentially a business ready to take off and if sold along with company and all the legal set up I would estimate each account at 5K-10K

He said in the OP it's a personal account.
Meaning the only way to take over the account without creating a tax liability for kirkland would be adding an EIN.
A years old personal account suddenly converting to a business account, selling in a new niche, with a new return address in a different part of the country, on a new IP.. is a recipe for disaster.

Like I said it's only worth as much as a buyer is willing to pay. Since this is an American account, I don't see you getting many offers. Good luck either way though.

All the best kirkland - hopefully you land a nice price for them. Has ID already been submitted for them, etc? That also makes a difference

The accounts have to have SSN's on them because thousands of feedback across 5yrs equals more than 200 sales per year

I don't think they allow you to change a registration SSN once it's been added. But they can be converted to business with an EIN.

This. It would be worth more if it wasn't such high risk to suddenly change the necessaries..
