I want to know - how often does ebay ask for live verification in 2026?

Someone told me that for EU and US ebay accounts this is now a common practice and happens multiple times for the same account. Therefore, it is worth checking those regions of the world where live verification firms are not so active yet. But I 'd like to hear an answer to the question above.

Been doing stealth for several years, never had to do a live selfie or anything of that nature through eBay UK, simply re-upload ID docs.
