hey guys
im returning to ebay after a while. last time i tried my accounts got suspended.
would love to know what are the latest updates on the platform.
does ebay require selfie verification now? for payout. does the bank has to match the name in ebay?

They do their own payments now instead of using Paypal.
There are various new types of promotions you can use now to increase listing visibility at the expense of any and all profits.
I've never been hit with selfie verification but I've heard it is a thing now in certain cases. I'm only using older accounts though.
Mismatched bank deposits are still acceptable.

i wanna ask which banks do they accept for the moment. i have got wise and payoneer and myfin. they are all in my name and i have had a banned account with ebay in my name. does that pose any risk? if yes. how do we go around that?

You are in UK,there are some recent threads on banks for UK sellers.

- No selfie verification (at least in the UK) just regular docs upload

- Only billing address must match (can easily change it via online banking app, mainly door number and post code needs to match but I match everything, then once direct debit is setup you can change your billing address back to normal if you want)

- When adding a card to pay, name doesn’t have to match, but billing must match the same as adding a direct debit / bank acc

Do not use a previously banned bank acc or card on a new stealth acc.

I recommend Chase Bank, unlimited virtual cards generations & multiple bank accounts in one banking app. Low regulations for UK users....

What do you plan to sell?
Latest is listing requirement on coins,if you sell coins/
Also if buyer files INAD(ITEM NOT AS DESCRIBED) dispute and win,you pay return shipping.
Paypal is out,it is now MP payment.for seller,but you can still use Paypal for buying.
There is an outfit which offers insurance on Ebay,but coins and precious metals are excluded.
If you sell coupons,there is a limit on how many you can sell
There is a service which offers authenticity guarantee,it will look at what you bot for a fee/
Retail arbitrage is NO NO,but many are doing it.
