Has eBay feedback been acting strangely for anyone else?

Over the last week or so?

My "last 30 day" feedback count has been jumping all over the place recently.

A few months ago I noticed my feedback number was the same but some of the most recent feedbacks were missing. I realised as they were important sales of high valued items. But they eventually returned so it could be a server/system bug/update type thing? Should fix itself with time I suppose

Hmm maybe a server update that's been affecting your account? I haven't experience that on my accounts

Happens once in a while.
Heart skips a beat when I log in and see 0 feedback, or the "Uh-Oh" error. :d

Off topic but another weird thing that happened to me recently.

A newer eBay UK account was restricted last week apparently, but I didn't receive a red banner or email indicating so.

I found out as I contacted customer support and they mentioned the account had been indefinitely suspended last week, but there was nothing on my user platform or any emails indicating this suspension was placed on the acc.

Is this a new security feature?

My listings were still live and I was able to use the account, just that I probably wouldn't be able to receive payouts?

It's an aged acc that I recently started using to sell, will update when it's payout time but man that was weird.. Usually when a permanent suspension is placed you are notified of it to my knowledge

Yes, occasionally my feedback shows up as the same lower number, then after a page refresh it returns to normal. Strange...

Whatever it is, it's apparently still going on. It's like it's going from counting automated feedback in the total one day, to only counting organic feedback the next day. On Sunday the account I have that's being affected by this showed ~250 feedback in the 1 month column, then the next day it dropped down to 75. It's been jumping back and forth for the past few weeks.

Just curious. On my other account the feedback is acting normally. :noidea:

Yep seems so.. Do you know which page exactly confirms your account status / health?

I thought on the payments page and seller overview it would typically display whether you were restricted or not?

Perhaps it's a user error - did you check your account from the POV of a different eBay user? Logging into another acc or visiting your page externally to see if the same reflects for others?

Yeah, lol, of course. I've been checking on this feedback profile from every angle imaginable. It's my actual public feedback profile that is for seriously jumping all over the place on the public internet for everyone.

Send me your telegram, I've recorded my POV for you. Automated feedback gets pushed to the bottom. The feedbacks should count in your seller feedback score though, that's all that matters. Their new seller automation feedback system is very scuffed btw

Hmm - that particular account might be having a server coding issue? Is it selling things that are very different from the other account?

High chance it's got to do with the automated feedback system. I've seen his profile, past month feedbacks mixed in with 6 months ones and it's all over the place. I assumed this is because the automated feedbacks are pushed to the back on your feedback profile list? Not sure though, but I did notice a lot of my recent orders automated feedbacks being left past the 6 month ones, it's a strange way they've implemented it
