Best eBay Account Setup? Country + LLC
 

I am looking to sell in the United States. Leaning towards doing a business account with an LLC, but I'm not sure.

My current account is below standard with 800 rep, but I'm tired of the fees. That one is also a stealth and its been around for 4+ years or something, but recently USPS ****ed me so now I want to restart so I can speed run Top Rated Seller.

What's the best way to go about this?

from what ive seen its a long process to make accounts but the stealth guide is decent

You can either follow Aspkin’s stealth guide to create your own account, or just grab a pre made stealth account from one of the trusted vendors.

If you’re planning to sell in bigger volumes (like proper reselling), you’ll need to use a business account anyway.

Building a fresh account up to the point where you can sell consistently usually takes around a month. A lot of people speed up the early stage by using a feedback service (make sure the items are posted and delivered), and once you’ve got around 10 sales under your belt you can start listing your regular stuff.

The fastest way to hit TRS is to quickly sell 100 cheaper items (you can break even or even take a small loss if the status is worth it to you), then follow up with one or two bigger ticket items to meet the $ requirement..

Depends on what you sell,USPS is the cheapest reliable form of shipment

US LLC works as long as you are a resident , ebay do not allow non-residents so that any attempts to use a US company as a resident will fail if ebay see there are non-residents behind it

Even if you have an LLC, the eBay security check will still not be released.

From my experience, the only courier I would "trust" in the States would be FedEx.

I would stay far away from UPS, DHL as they open parcels as they wish for inspection checks.

USPS has always been very slow with my deliveries and overall do not like the way they handle international shipments, they offset to other courier companies in different countries which causes delays, whereas FedEx deals with everything in-house so everything's fast and streamlined.

That being said there is a premium to pay, but there are workarounds..

USPS turns over some of its overseas delivery to Fed Exp.
What makes you think Fed Exp does not open your package?

Because they don't.

DHL updated their policy a few years ago stating they will open parcels, since then I don't know one person that uses them here.

Over my 1000+ shipments with FedEx both domestic/international they have never done so, nor does it state they will unless theres a WMD or bomb inside your parcel lol.

Regular shipments they simply scan, x-ray and go
