| | | | | itslouis2003 | 07-14-2026 02:04 PM | my ebay creation method (as a newbie) I'm just trying to get back on eBay, spent a very long time researching posts and replies here on 2020-2026 posts, understandably things change constantly.
1. Fresh Gmail in name of the account
2. Vodafone fresh number
3. Static 0 fraud score residential IP (BT mainly)
4. Fresh Mac user account
5. Firefox with proxyfire extension
6. Now for my first creation method, I am doing 2-3 a day at the moment in various different ways. First way is I do some browsing, add some things to cart and look around for 10-15 min, I do the same on Amazon (might be a waste of time idk just gathering other site cookies) then I will purchase an item on eBay guest checkout, and later on I create the account via the email eBay sends "Your order is confirmed". I will then login frequently over the next 2-3 weeks until I do my first listing which will be have meta data stripped images and sold as auction and used.
My second creation method is where I do the same as before, I will do some browsing and add things to cart, but when I go to click "buy it now" I create an account, specifically a business account. Same thing after 2-3 weeks being active on the account, messaging sellers and bidding if I can (waiting for temp bidding ban to come to an end)
My third creation method is basically the same as the second method except it is a personal account.
I am trying to keep all basis covered, and trying to look like an average joe to ebay.
7. I am using my name but each account will have different addresses.
8. When it comes to the seller onboarding (managed payments) since eBay do a soft credit check I will be inputting my real info, this may be a stupid idea but from my research on here I have seen some people say that managed payments (ayden) is different to eBay. My info is "banned" however I have also gathered that its an urban legend to have banned info. I understand if one goes down they will all go down however, which is why I will only convert one account at a time until one survives the first listing.
I welcome anyones advice, as I said I am a newbie and could be very very wrong so it would be nice to make changes early on into my creations.
Thank you to anyone who decides to chime in.
Edit: Fresh banking info for each seller account, matching the name on the account. Although I have read that you can sometimes use the same banking twice. (One from a banned account) |

3. how will you connect to it, SOCKS5 or VPN, does it support UDP/QUIC?
4. pointless
5. What do you mena by 'proxyfire extension' I couldn't find that extension in the firefox add-on store, No extension is likely to tunnel all your traffic anyway, what about DNS leaks? WebRTC leaks? HTTP3? Quote:

I am trying to keep all basis covered, and trying to look like an average joe to ebay. | Browsing is good, enough and you might convince ThreatMatrix you're a real person, and over look the proxy and machine identifiers.
You're not going to look like the average Joe though, less than 50% of web browsers in the UK are on desktops, of that 50% less than 25% are using Macs and of those less than 6% are using Firefox, so you're already a very rare user, maybe 0.7%.
Let us know how you get on |

Many people recommend using proxies or SOCKS5 services like IPBurger. Often, you are promised an "ISP-type" IP—meaning one provided by a genuine internet service provider like Comcast or Verizon, only to find a red flag when you check it (on pixelscan.net for example), because the IP is flagged as belonging to a data center. Even if you *can* use these IPs on eBay, I wouldn't feel at ease doing so. I always use 4G/5G, I change IP like 2 or 3 time per day on each of my ebay acc and I never got issues about that because eBay know these IP are not static. |
Re: my ebay creation method (as a newbie) Nice setup globally speaking OP - don't be lazy and use the same banking account over; can cause too easy of a link. I like the bidding and browsing aspect. What category are you intending to sell from the get go? |

Let us know how you get on | Yes I check dns leaks, I meant foxyproxy I don’t know why I said proxy fire. I’ve double checked and the ISP is BT |

I would also highly recommend using a browser extender such as AdsPower instead of running a vpn directly from your computer, this essentially mitigates most risks of IP leaks, also gives you a fresh browser every time for cookies.
Other than that sounds good.
Kind reminder not to reuse previous bank accounts or addresses (one way ticket for indefinite suspension). I would also advise not to use the same name every time. You will need a method of sourcing IDs for the inevitable verification/restriction requests.
You are able to have a previous address listed as your return address (RETURN ADDRESS ONLY*), even from a banned account. I've tested this for several months now, no issues. Saves the extra hassle using a different address for returns.. |

Is 3-4 weeks sufficient do you think or is the longer I wait and place orders, the higher chance it succeeds? |
| dsdominators | 07-16-2026 06:08 AM | Re: my ebay creation method (as a newbie) Hint:
Before you even attempt to convert to a seller account, make sure you've made at least 5 different purchases.
This has improved my success rates rapidly. |

But I also feel it's how you use the account during the aging process. I would still browse, watch items, drip buy a few items during the aging process, provide feedback, just simulate a new user and what you would do as a noob on eBay really.
As dsdominators says below, it's good measure to use a fresh virtual card or debit card to buy different items here and there before you start selling, buyer history does help I feel. |

Also make sure that your bank has the funds - no NSF. |
